Harlem Taylor POV
Sunday dinner was practically a famous tradition that run down the Kent family. Every Sunday, we'd come together to eat. We didn't have time for that no more. With Don stressing all of us, we could sit down together, eat and talk about what happened during the week. Right now, we were all down at the trap hearing what Latifah had to say."So I was like, 'nigga you look like you need something to distract you!' and he was all, 'what you got in mind, shawty?' and I took him back to mine and stuff happened. I'm basically his 'bitch'!" She smacked on her gum and talked a little fast.
"Is that all?" Rochelle asked looking bored.
"Oh, they're having this little party. Celebrating their deal with the cops and New York. They got drugs coming in and they're ready to get rid of y'all." She smacked the weave in her head.
"Damn this girl ratchet, or nah..?" I muttered to Jeremiah and we smacked hands.
"Okay, a party? When is this party?" Romain asked.
"Tomorrow." She applied more lipstick and looked into her mirror.
"How about we all go? And there, we can take his workers?" Johan suggested.
Johan was back only because Rochelle basically begged him to come back. He finally said yes only so he can stop bugging her. We did need Johan, his shooting skills were off the hook.
"I was gonna say that.." Romain mumbled.
"I think that's a good idea, Johan. That'll really work. We can get Latifah to intoxicate the drinks and from there, we can take the workers." Rochelle shrugged.
"But do y'all know who are the workers?" Latifah questioned us as she applied more eyeshadow.
"Why the fuck do y'all carry makeup bags?" Kash questioned.
"Not the time to be asking irrelevant questions." Latifah smiled a little.
"The people that are gonna be at the party are gonna be the workers and workers only. There's gonna be a few girls there but they're the strippers that they got for tomorrow night. So, if y'all wanna go, only girls." She explained.
"How do we gotta dress?" Rochelle sighed.
"Like a stripper. Something that'll attract the guys and make you fit in." She shrugged.
"Now that is not gonna happen." I shook my head.
I noticed Rochelle looked at me and smiled small before I turned to look at Latifah that was talking once again.
"You can wear short skirts or something? But there's only 1 girl which is you. Jamila can't do it." She pointed at Jamila.
"I could get Taya to do it. Oh and could you please Kendall and Jazmine?" Rochelle asked Kash and Romain.
"I'm not sure if they're gonna wanna do it but we'll try." Kash shrugged.
"Thanks." Rochelle smiled.
"Right, that's the plan all sorted!" Jamila exclaimed.
"I'm really nervous about this thing tomorrow. I hope nothing wrong happens." Rochelle rubbed her arm.
After she dismissed the meeting, everyone started to make their way out and so did I. I grabbed her arm and pulled round to a corner. She smiled and gave me a hug and I wrapped my arms around her too feeling her warmth. She pulled off and took my hand.
"Tell me everything is going to be okay?" She questioned.
"Everything is going to be fine, don't worry about it." I smiled and tried to kiss her but she stopped me.
