Rochelle Kent POV
"Okay class, I'll see y'all tomorrow!" My teacher dismissed us.

I picked up all my books and put them all in my bag. Walking out of the lessons, I noticed Romain running towards the gym. He's probably going to football or something. I minded my own business until I saw Harlem on his own getting something from his locker.

"Hey." I smiled.

"Wassup?" He leaned in to kiss my cheek.

"I'm really hungry." I pouted.

"What'd you wanna eat?" He questioned me as we walked holding hands.

"I dunno, I just want food!" I rubbed my stomach.

"It's sucks that we can't get no alone time. With all the houses burnt, we can't be together inside." Harlem looked at me.

"I know." I sighed.

"Anyway, I wanna take you out on a date or something." He licked his lower lip.

"Where to?".

"I'm still thinking about it. I wanna take you roller skating, it was something we'd do in New York. Well..the girls did it whilst us boys just hung out and watched." Harlem shrugged.

"That sounds cool." I grinned.

"I wanna go to New York one day. I've never been." I shook my head.

"I'd love to take you to see my home town." He moved his arm so he could wrap it around my neck.

"I wanna go and see my moms and Brooklyn again. I had a really fun time when I was around my family, you know? All the good memories returned.".

The cold air hit our skins as we walked out of the school building. As Harlem was rambling on about New York, my attention shifted to Kirsty who had dropped her books on the floor and were bending over to get them. I quickly removed Harlem's arm from me and ran towards her. I stopped her from getting the books so I done it instead.

"Thank you. You didn't have to do that." She looked at me funny.

"I-it's ok." I looked at her thinking about her issue.

Something made me do that, I don't know what but I think that I've sort of got a soft spot for Kirsty. What Romain told me really touched me. Even though you ain't on good terms with people, you ever know when your time is up. Thinking about that, Kirsty and I's little 'beef' is real petty and stupid.

"Oh my--" She sighed.

"I thought I told your brother not to tell nobody anything." She rolled her eyes a little.

"It's not his fault. I'm concerned about you, Kirsty. I wanna put everything behind us and help you instead. If you need anything, just call me." I wrote my number down on a piece of paper.

"I'm glad you wanna put everything behind us too. Friends?" She stuck her hand out.

"Friends." I smiled and so did she.

I handed her back the books before I turned on my heels and walked back to Harlem feeling great about myself. He looked at me in awe. I furrowed my brows before taking his hand.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I questioned.

"You made up with Kirsty Miller!" He laughed a little.

"Whatever.." I giggled a little.

Romain Kent POV
I walked out of the school building and spotted Jazmine who was sitting on the hood of my car. She looked up from her phone and gave me a smile and I returned one too. Once I made it over to her, I pulled her into a hug kissing her on the lips not wanting to let go.
