Rochelle Kent POV
The noise of the hospital doors made my eyes open. I exhaled before glancing at the door where Harlem stood. He gave me a quick smile before continuing to walk my way. My eyes widened as it landed on what he was holding. I tried sitting up but my arm was still in pain and my body was still aching after surgery last night.

"Harlem? You didn't have to do all this..!" I gasped a little trying to hold back any of my happiness tears.

"Yeah I did. You were feeling down last night. So I thought maybe this would make you feel better." He shrugged.

I was cheesing real hard. He took so damn long just to get here and I was growing impatient being alone. Now I know the reason why. He went all the way to Victoria Secret and bought me presents. He got me perfumes and other gift sets. One thing that did catch my attention was this big ass teddy bear that he had gotten me. It was jumbo and was really cute. He got me a get well soon card and a get well soon balloon too. He came closer and handed me the red roses.

"Thank you so much." I gave him a hug with my free arm.

"No problem." He smiled.

Before he let go, I gave him a kiss on his cheek and smiled. He stepped back and pulled this nervous look which looked funny. He sat the flowers in a vase and put the presents to the side.

"So you really skipped school for me?" I glanced at him.

"Yeah.." He nodded his head.

"I thought I was annoying and you hated me?" I raised a brow.

"I guess I've warmed up to you, haven't I?" He looked away smiling to himself a little.

We sat there in silence until he stood up and turned on the TV that was in my room. I closed my eyes a little to get some rest. I'm really tired and my body is really hurting too.

"You hungry?" He asked making me open my eyes.

"No, but could you get me water please?" She questioned.

"Alright, I'll be right back." He stood up and left the room as I closed my eyes.

A few minutes passed and the doors opened signalling they somebody was in the room.

"How you feeling, baby?" I heard his voice.

My eyes shot open and I was looking at Kyle who stood in front of me. My heart sunk and I began to grow sad. I could feel myself tearing up but I didn't want to cry. I frowned a little and he came closer kissing my cheek.

"What are you doing here?" I held back my tears.

"I came to see you. I couldn't come yesterday because the guys held me at gunpoint. They told me that if I told the Feds what happened, they'll find me and kill me." He explained.

"Look, I'm sorry about last night. Your right, it is my fault. I should've been there earlier to have fun with you and I shouldn't have left you with Harlem. Do you like him?" He questioned.

"As a friend? Yes, I do. He's a really nice boy and I just wished that everybody would give him a chance. Although the bullet hit me, he still kinda saved my life. You basically ran away!" I glanced at him with a mug on my face.

"And I'm sorry, I won't do that again." He leaned in and kissed me again.

I smiled a little at the thought of him kissing me and being cute. He took my hand and pulled out a silver ring. It had a broken heart on one ring and I noticed that the other side of the ring was on his ring.

"This is a ring that I wanna give you. It's a promise too. Also, it'll just let everyone know that your mine. Promise me that you'll wear it?" He asked.
