Alexus Kent POV
"Rochelle, this young lady needs her appointment booked for Thursday at 2:30pm, please?" I looked at my daughter.

"Sure mama." She typed up on the computer.

I walked over to the final hair station and just cleaned up. Today was really busy and we got money coming in for sure! I brought the cloth to the stock cupboard and hung it where it was usually placed. I walked out of the cupboard and found the shop empty. I stood in the middle of it and Rochelle sat at the computer logging off and locking the register. I turned my head to the left and looked at the picture of my brother and I. Arnold Carter. I miss him every single day. I looked down and thought about all the memories we had together. I felt my back pocket vibrate and I pulled my phone out. I had a few texts from Omarion and my boys.

MyHubby😍😘💓🌍: Where you at baby? I'm missing you, ya need to be in my arms - 4:30pm

KingMain🤴🏾😘❤️: Mama, Harlem and I are heading down to the mall to buy a few things - 3:23pm

"KashMoneyy?" I furrowed.

"He probably got into your phone and changed his name." Rochelle laughed.

"That boy..That's your brother." I shook my head.

"That's your son." She returned.

"Come on princess, lets go." I laughed.

Marcus "Kash" Kent POV
"Thanks Bone." I slapped hands with him as he pulled up at the driveway.

I got out of the car and made my way to the front door unlocking the door with my key. I heard somebody call for my name so I turned around and saw Kendall waving at me. I waved back and saw her smiling. I also smiled and watched as she made her way over to me. She had on a pink sundress that stopped at her knees and her white Nike slides that showed her pink toes. She had her hair down which was straightened and I was guessing a friendship bracelet.

"What's up?" I asked.

"I didn't see you in school yesterday." She folded her arms.

"Oh, I was around." I scratched the back of my head.

"Or maybe you was trying to avoid me?" She raised a brow.

"Nah, I wasn't trying to avoid you. I wouldn't do that." I shook my head.

"Alright. I just came to you to say hi since I was alone at home and we need to work on our project anyway." She shrugged.

"You wanna come in?" I offered.

"Yeah." She smiled.

I opened the front door and we both walked inside the house. I placed my bag to the side on the floor and turned back looking at Kendall. Her mouth was opened and her eyes were big and wide. I laughed a little and walked to the kitchen with her following behind.

"Your house is literally big!" She gasped.

"Yeah, I know." I smirked.
