(Latifah)
Rochelle Kent POV
"Okay, what did everyone see? Anything unusual?" Uncle O asked. All us girls looked at each other and the boys looked at each other too. Before any of us spoke, we then looked at each other making facing telling each other to speak up.
"Mane, can somebody hurry the fuck up. I gotta go and sleep." Uncle O smacked his teeth.
"Okay.." Jeremiah cleared his throat.
"The girls did their thing and so did we. There, it wasn't that hard." Tobias said looking at all of us.
"Anything else?" He looked at us.
"We saw Don, some other nigga, Mr Spellman and Kyle--!" Kash boasted as he counted with his fingers.
"Kyle?!" My eyes widened.
"Woman can you not interrupt?" Kash smacked his teeth.
"Yeah and it's got me questioning about the whole fucking thing." Jeremiah looked at me.
"What?" Romain asked.
"We've all agreed that Don's crew had something to do with the shooting, the car accident and everything else, right?" He looked at us all.
"Yeah." We nodded our heads.
"On the night of the shootings, I was in the bathroom just after I heard the gunshots. Looking out of the window, I think I could see Kyle laughing or something before running away. Now that's dodgy, don't y'all think that he's got something to do with this? He hates Harlem, as soon as he comes back he puts a ring on her finger, he doesn't talk to Taya and his mom is all of a sudden enemies with aunt Alexus? This is all pure bullshit! Something is up and we're gonna get to the bottom of this!" Jeremiah said making sense.
"He's right." Uncle O said.
"I can't believe he's basically an opp." I frowned.
"We don't know that for sure, yet but I'm hoping that you could mend things with him so you could get detail." Romain asked looking at me.
"No..I can't." I shook my head.
"I will." Latifah offered.
"What'd you mean? Your basically Don's girl." Lamar furrowed his brow.
"Kyle and I have been going behind his back to--" Johan cut her off.
"Okay, okay. Do you love him?" Johan asked.
"No. He thinks I do." She shrugged.
"Okay, then you can take care of Kyle. Now Charles. I knew there was something off about him. From the first day I met him when your father brought him to our meeting that was cancelled because of him." Uncle O looked at me.
"Him and his raggedy ass, monkey looking, thug face, tall ass, ugly looking face." Kash said.
"I don't know what my dad actually does. He doesn't have a store. I asked my mom when I got home after yesterday. She doesn't know anything about a store. She would've been the first to know. I remember at our old house, it would have a smell but I never knew what it was because I was only young at the time. I can't believe he does this. I added more of the liquid to his drink too." Kendall sighed.
"Yeah, he ain't awake." Daxton shook his head.
"Okay, I got detail on Mr Spellman." Jamila herself rolled into the room with her MacBook on her lap.
"Charles Spellman. 45. Currently lives in California with his daughter Kendall Spellman. Accused of murder and theft. Former corner boy. Drug dealer, also known as a 'Kingpin'." She read out loud.
