Bill walked to Charles and Toriel, he plopped into his chair, grumbling something under his breath. Toriel set the rubbing alcohol bottle onto the grey granite counter.
"What happened?" Toriel asked him. Bill was looking at the newspaper and he threw it onto the table.
"The little brats said they hadn't done anything to Charles." He growled. Toriel shrugged.
"So?... They lied to their parents... they would be in bigger trouble" Toriel said softly hugging Charles.
"Their parents believed them... They said they wouldn't harm anyone..." He growled. Toriel and Bill looked at Charles.
"They did hurt me... They won't leave me alone..." He whimpered. Toriel patted his back gently.
"Maybe i'll go talk to them this time..." Bill shook his head. "I'm getting sick and tired of them pushing him around" He pointed to Charles. "Meet me in the backyard..." he stood up and Toriel ran to Bill.
"You're not going to teach him!" Bill shook his head.
"He's going to learn and if he does fight I will prevent the pet control from getting him" Toriel shook her head.
"But he'll get hurt!" Toriel exclaimed. Bill hugged her.
"Better to fight back and not be their punching bag... Let's go Charles" He pushed away from her. Walking to the sliding glass door and opened it; walking out. Charles stayed seated for a little longer, taking a bite out of his steak. Then got up, walking to his mother and gives her a hug, then continued outside.

As the afternoon went on, Toriel watched Bill teach him to throw punches or kicks. Some point Bill told Charles; he refused, he refused to hit his father. "Come on Charles i'm not going to know how well you hit if you don't throw a simple punch at me!" Bill yelled, he was in a defensive stance.
"I really don't want to hit you..." Charles muttered, he was starting to hate this idea. Bill grabbed his hand and made it into a fist, he directed it to his stomach.
"Right here, that' all i'm asking" Bill pulled away. "I need to see how strong you are, kid" Bill waited. He sighed after a few seconds. "Think of this, i'm one of those three little brats, i'm about to scratch you" He raised his paw-ish hand and his claws extract. Charles stared up at him, he didn't lift his arm. Bill dropped his arm and sat on one of the small smooth rocks on the side of the lawn. "You're killin' me smalls..." Charles attempted to make a growling noise, it sounded like a grumble a little bit.
"Why don't you show me some passive things... I don't want to hurt anyone" Charles said softly.
"Like growling? I thought we tried this before? You can't intimidate if you don't look threatening." Bill stood up. "We'll give it a shot." Bill muttered. "Time to teach you to basically be a wolf" he said to Charles. He teached Charles until it was night fall, Toriel had Charles' food in the oven staying warm, when they came back inside they all finished the rest of their food. Then they trudged upstairs to their soft beds. Charles just landed face first into his bed, falling asleep almost instantly; who knew it was tiring to growl like a wolf and move in certain postures to scare several small lizards. He didn't bother getting dressed in pajamas and taking his black collar off, he just fell asleep. Through the night it was silent and peaceful, it was one more night until the full moon rose. Into the black sky covered in white dots, whenever it was a full moon; it was a party for his parents. It was hard for him to sleep during those nights, not with all the howling and loud laughter. But tomorrow night, that's when he could join them for the first time. To meet their friends, talk with them; but it was also uncertainty that flushed through him. They might make fun of him, shove him around, or make his own parents lonely. It was usually rare to have a human pet in those parts of the world, so he didn't have much or any friends at all. But maybe, just maybe, tomorrow night he might make some friends.
