"The little one... He's immune to our gift~" The white wolf softly said to herself. A labem infected doe followed her.

"Hoooow? Hoooow issss heee immuuune?" The doe's voice wavered.

"By a certain couple. And they have my spell book..." She growled, picking a black rose from the rose bush. She sniffed the rose softly as the rose bush instantly regrew the missing bud. She walked a bit of a distance away from it. "Ah~ How do they not enjoy it?" She said softly as she waved at the labem covered clearing.

"Coooold it be thaaat thiiiss is painfuuuul" The doe shreaked, her deformed ears dropped against her head as she stared at her destroyed hooves.

"But you're so much stronger!" The white wolf exclaimed. Dropping the black rose, another rose bush grew the instant the rose bud hit the ground.

"Buuut... Theeee paaiin... thheeee sssorrrow... Myyy ffaaaammillly" The doe started to cry with her shattered voice.

"And I touched the black rose!" Amber snarled. "And now look at the mess I made... It's already intoxicating~" She smelled the air, her grin returning. "There is no turning back..." She softly said to the doe. "It is already too late..." She stared at the puncture in her thumb. It was a black dot in her thumb, her source of power and strength over the labem. She waved her paw over the ground, moving the labem. All she saw was the dirt, no green grass. She waved her paw back over the ground, the labem covering the non-fertile dirt. The doe grabbed Amber's arm pulling her toward her.

"Looooook aaaat meee!" The doe wailed. "I am iiiin coooonsstant paaaain!" Amber attempted to look away, the doe moved her head back to her. "Pleeeease... Tuuurn meee baaack" The doe begged.

"I-I can't" Amber whimpered. "Even if I tried, you wouldn't survive" She said softly as she jerked away.

"W-whaaaat? Whaaat doo yoouu meeeaan?" The doe shattered. Amber looked back at her.

"Because it is keeping you alive" Amber said. "I've tried it... It is too late for you" Amber whimpered, disappearing without a trace into the forest. The doe stood there in disbelief. Her yellow sweater. Once beautiful and bright, was now ragged and tinged with dirt and labem intertwined in the fibers, she stared where Amber once stood. Then turned, walking back where they came from.

Tristan bathed in the hot sun, feeling the labem on his torso burn painfully. He didn't care, he wanted it to suffer like he once did. Bill raised the axe swinging down and chopping firewood in the distance. "You use less energy if you use its weight" Tristan wavered.

"I don't see you chopping wood, lumberjack" Bill snapped, the memory still pained his mind using his anger behind the shining axe head. Tristan sat up and scratched his furless neck with his claws, just right above the bloody bandages. "Be careful where you scratch!" Bill yelled.

"Jeez I didn't realize you're my mom now. I am, it's just that this one spot is so damn itchy!" He started to kick his foot as he scratched it. "Awe yeah..." Bill shook his head. Tristan stopped and looked at the forest. "Hey Bill, I think someone wants to see you" He chuckled. Bill looked at the forest and held up the axe and snarled loudly.

"You... do not belong here!" He growled loudly. The white wolf's pelt gleamed in the light, Amber just stared at him, her punctured paw was covered in labem, dripping onto the ground like blood. She grinned and bent down to the ground, her paw gently touched the Vetitilux.

"You're running out of time~" Amber said softly to Bill. The Vetitilux wilted a little as she pulled her paw away. "Then you'll be mine~" The axe thunked against a tree right beside her head.

"I'd rather die than be yours!" Bill snarled. The metal of the axe melted onto the ground as the wood rotted instantly.

"Oops~ In time you will be!" She giggled, walking away. Bill growled angrily before running toward the forest line, bending down and checking the Vetitilux. They all were wilted and weak.

"You're going to need a new axe..." Tristan voice trembled, looking at the Vetitilux.

"I'm not worried about the axe. I'm more worried about the fact that she almost killed the flowers just standing next to them..." Bill muttered, slowly getting up. "We need to get Charles healed and feeling better." Tristan turned to him.

"Do you think he would even be ready?" Tristan asked.

"We have no other option, he'd be the only one to pass those vines." Bill said softly.

"And the roses? How would we get rid of them?" Tristan added.

"I have an idea, but Toriel will not like it." Bill said as he started to walk back to the house. Tristan looked back at the chopped wood.

"Yo, what about the firewood?" Tristan pointed at the chopped the wood.

"Leave it!" Bill goes into the house.

"But it's perfectly good firewood" Tristan muttered and followed him.

"AH! Stay out here! Until we get all that..." Tristan cut him off.

"Yeah yeah, I'm not a hu..." Bill glared at him. "Sorry..." Tristan muttered. "I'll wait out over here..." He walked over to the tree trunk and sat on it tapping the trunk with is sharp claws, he looked out into the forest again. Amber just smiled at him and turned, walking away briskly.
