Charles was walking through a meadow, the night's air was comfortably cold, he walked past willows and rose bushes. He stared into the pale black sky; ignited dots of light splattered across the sky. The moon was close to being full; just one more hour till it became white and dusty. He kept watching, sitting on green willow branches that were tied together, making a leafy hamic. He laid back onto it and watch the moon slowly crawl through the sky. The moon filled, he smiled to what it looked like; then the surroundings started to shake, the moon becoming a blood red. Charles jumped off the hammock only to fall into an endless hole, watching the moon become smaller and smaller.
Charles snapped awake, feeling the motion of Toriel shaking him gently. "Wake up Charlie, it's a Full Moon!" she said cheerfully to him; Charles yawned and sat up.
"I'll be down there" he yawned.
"Okay see ya soon" She exited his medium-sized room and walks down the stairs. He could hear talking downstairs, none of the voices he knew either. He flipped his legs off the soft bed and dangled, slowly waking up more before he stood on the grey carpet. He jumped off his bed landing softly onto the floor, he walks to the mirror in his room. It looked like his hair got licked by one of the neighbors. He shook his head and licks his hand and pats down the cowlick. He stared at his pants and walks to the drawer. He pulled out a pair of black jeans and throws his blue ones into the white hole filled laundry basket. He puts the black pair on and strapped the button on and walks out of his room. Charles slowly peered around the corner of the stairway and saw multiple wolves, talking to each other. Some of them had drinks in their hands. He looked around more and saw several young pups that ran through the backyard, they were about his age some may be a little older. Toriel was talking to one of the guests and scuffled into the kitchen quickly. He heard loud laughing and looked over to see his dad talking to some of his co-workers and friends. Tom; Charles' dad's brother or formally known as his uncle was talking to him. He had white and greyish fur, he was smaller and a little bit more beefier than Bill. Jerry; a tall skinny black wolf was next to him, Charles had talked to him before. Jerry was the closest to being his friend. He walked down the stairs more, rubbing his arm shyly. Tom looked and saw Charles, opening his arms.
"Charles! Long time no see man!" he yelled to him, Charles waved to him and looked around cautiously. "Awe don't be shy buddy" he said. Charles walked over to Tom and gave him a hug.
"So many Wolves..." Charles whispered, Tom laughed.
"Nah, don't be afraid. None of 'em is gonna hurt ya" he chuckled and looked over to another grey wolf. It was a girl, her name was Samantha. She was Tom's mate, she waved to Charles. Charles glanced back to Tom. "How about you go talk to some of the pups here, Charles." Charles nodded silently and shyly and slowly walked through everyone. Most of them didn't mind him, one of the pups ran past him, a few seconds later being chased by another. He kept weaving through the crowd until he came across Toriel.
"Hey mom..." Charles called for her. She turned to him and smiled.
"Yes Charlie?" she asked and turned back around cutting meat up.
"What do I do in a Full Moon party?..." he asked looking around him cautiously.
"You talk to others and drink and eat and have fun" She told him, and gave him a piece of an Angel Cake. He stares up to her.
"But I don't know anyone" His voice shook. Toriel giggled.
"That's why you go out and talk to them silly" She told him and walked to the fridge; opening it and gets a red juice out of the fridge. "Moose blood?" Charles shook his head quickly.
"Erm, no thanks! Can I just have apple juice?" Toriel nodded and Charles walks over to the white fridge grabbing the jug of juice, a pup ran up to Toriel and she gives the pup a cup of the blood.
"Thank you!" She said in a high pitch and walked off. Toriel walked through the door and set the Moose blood on the table, she came back. Charles had stuffed the Angel Cake into his mouth and chugged the apple juice from a red solo cup. Toriel giggled and walked and grabbed more plates and walked back into the other room Charles heard laughter and looked outside watching the pups chase each other. Charles walked outside and stood next to the fire pit outside, a red flame glittered from it. He stood mesmerized; watching the fire. A few minutes of being in the warm light. A white pup; about his age poked his arm and yelled.
"Tag! You're it!" and ran off laughing, Charles debated for a good couple of seconds and chased after the pups. Playing tag for quite awhile, then soon after that hide n' seek. He knew every root of the house so he purposely went easy. He looked around pretending he didn't see certain pups then went back and found them after awhile. After a good long hour or so, he walked back into the house, tired. Toriel grabbed him.
"Ah, the night's not over Charlie!" she walked him to the food table. "Eat it'll keep you awake" Charles nodded sluggishly. He grabbed a muffin and started eating, he looked around.
'How could they do this for so long?' He thought to himself. He shrugged and started for the stairs.
"Ah!" Toriel grabs his collar. "Just a little longer Charlie..." He frowned.
"But I'm tired!..." He whimpered. Toriel shrugged.
"Till midnight alright?" She asked, Charles nodded.
"Fine..." He muttered.
