Wishes are stars
That float high above.
Sometimes low enough
For us to reach.
Other times
Too high to even see.Wishes are stars
That shine so brightly.
They are the light
At the end of the tunnel.
The glint in honey-colored
Eyes and reflection
In warm tea.Wishes are stars
That never sleep.
The lights may dim
And sometimes may brighten.
Often times the stars might
Age
But stars like wishes
Will not die until
Those wishes become reality.Wishes are stars
That may seem afar
But if we really tried,
We might
Just
Be
Able
To
Reach.
