Y/N POV:
Delivered July 30th, 2017
They're not real, I swear. My heavy eyes scan over the text for about the twentieth time until my phone goes idle. The E! News channel showed on the television screen, a pink haired woman gossiping about another celebrity. I loathed this channel because they made up lies for celebrities and in conclusion, they ruined the person's relationship with their significant other.
The fact that that was presently occurring between my boyfriend and I made me loathed it even more. Tom was saying none of the rumors are true, but how could I believe that he was telling the truth when all he did was hang around Zendaya twenty-four-seven?
I shut off the television and head up to the bedroom Tom and I shared. My feet pad against the warm carpet once I make it up to the room, closing the door gently behind me. Changing into my pajamas and fixing my hair into a messy bun, I plop on my bed, snatching Tom's pillow into my arms. It was a habit of mine to always sleep with his pillow in my arms whenever he was away for filming.
Just as my eyes were starting to droop, my phone on my nightstand began to blare a well-known ringtone. Sleepily groaning, I grasp a hold onto the electronic device and I'm met with Tom's goofy contact picture, along with his recognizable phone number.
"Hello." My voice is groggy once I finally answer the phone.
A low chuckle comes from the other end of the phone before Tom says, "Hey babe, I didn't mean to wake you."
I tiredly shrug, totally forgetting that he couldn't see me in person. "You're fine. Besides, I literally just closed my eyes no more than two minutes ago."
"Oh okay," He responds and I can hear things moving around on his end, a couple things being knocked over. "Uhh- how's school?"
"You know, nothing's changed. Pretty much the same ole' tough professors and two essays given me to like every week." I awkwardly laugh, sitting up from my current laying position.
"Well, you've got this. Just think of it as-"
His sentence is cut short when someone calls his name from afar. The sound of him shuffling around some more objects is faint before his chuckle comes back into my hearing.
"Y/N, I've got-"
"To go." I finish for him, adding an annoyed huff.
He huffs too and I can tell he suddenly feels guilty. "I'm sorry, babe. I will call you once I get back to my hotel room."
