macenzie knocked on the trailer that read "reylynn caster." she was visiting her friend who was on set for the show "me, myself and i." reylynn opened the door and the two girls had a moment of squealing before macenzie stepped into the trailer.
"macenzie, this is jack grazer! he's playing alex." she motioned to a boy with curly brown hair. he was laughing at something on his phone and looked up at the girls.
"oh hey, nice to meet you. jack," he shook her hand.
"macenzie, nice to meet you too!" the three sat on the couch and talked about the show. macenzie was curious about acting and how it worked, but their conversation turned into talking about their favorite movies.

"REYLYNN AND JACK!! WE NEED YOU!" a voice called from outside the trailer.
"we gotta go, thanks for coming!!" reylynn smiled as she hugged macenzie. macenzie said goodbye to reylynn with a hug back.
"nice meeting you, jack."
"you too! here's my number, text me." he winked as they swapped phones.

six hours later
macenzie was back at home, relaxing with netflix. her phone buzzed, jack had sent her a text. her heart started beating quickly as she read what he wrote.
j: heyyy
m: hi jack
j: what's up?
m: not much, i had fun talking
to u and rey today !!
j: me too, we should hang out
again soon
m: yeah!! the 3 of us!! when?
j: im free tomorrow
m: i am too, wanna meet
at starbucks for lunch?
j: yup!!!
j: see u then ❤️
m: 😌😌
she was excited to see jack tomorrow, but worried if it would be awkward at all. interrupting her thoughts, reylynn spammed macenzie with texts.
r: UR GOING ON A DATE
WITH JACK ?!
m: what! i thought we
all were going
to lunch tomorrow but
thats it lol
r: im with him rn
and he said it's a date
m: he thinks its a date?!
r: i think so...
r: he keeps saying how
cute u are oops hahaha
m: welp now im nervous
r: do you think he's cute??
humor him even if u don't
m: maybeeee
r: when this turns into
you guys dating thank me later!
r: have fun on ur date ;)
m: STOPP
