Meanwhile In Storybrooke, just after they got sucked into the portal
"Where are they? Where did they go? Bring them back!" David shouted as he got up off the floor where he tried to jump into the portal after them but it closed up before he got the chance making him land face first on the cold floor. He glared at Regina with a murderous look in his eye.
"I don't know," Regina said softly trying hard not to cry, crying is a sign of weakness and she never shows weakness.
"Bring them back!" He hissed
"I can't! I used the last bit of my magic to open up that portal! I have no idea where they are or if they are okay!"
David froze. "So they could be..."
"Yes," Regina hung her head thinking about her daughter. "That portal was going to send the Wraith somewhere that doesn't exist...."
"But the Enchanted Forest could still be there! We just need to find out how to get there-"
"You and you charmings with the whole 'hope' thing" Regina glared flicking her wrist out of habit but she was surprised when long vines came out of the wall, wrapped around David and held him against it. She looked at her wrist in shock before she composed herself. "There is nothing we can do to get them back! You're not the only one who lost someone today!"
David struggled against the magic vines. "This is all your fault like always"
"I should have killed you when I had the chance" Regina hissed walking closer towards the struggling man. "And now, since Snow isn't here -- I finally can-"
"Mum?" A small voice said before she could threaten him more. Regina turned around and saw Henry standing by the entrance looking confused and scared. "What's going on? Where's my other mum? Mary Margret and Jewel?"
Regina gulped and David explained what had happened. The vines released him and Henry ran forward and hugged his grandad whilst looking at Regina with tears in his eyes. "We can get them back though, right?"
"Henry-"
David cut her off. "Of course we can buddy" He smiled. "In the meantime, why don't you stay with me-"
"Oh, hell no chisel chin" Regina hissed. "He's my son"
"I don't want him around you" David argued.
Regina folded her arms. "I'm not going to hurt him"
"Mum it's okay," Henry said softly. "I'll stay with David whilst you figure out how to bring them back -- you're the only person who can"
"Henry" She bent down to his level. "I don't know if I can bring them back"
"Which is why you need to try" Henry begged. "Please, try"
Regina, not wanting to give her son false hope, slowly nodded before giving him a quick hug and standing up. She watched as David took the small boys hand and lead him out of the room leaving Regina alone with tears in her eyes. She had no idea how to bring them back but now she has to find a way. How was she supposed to bring them back without magic?
"I'm gonna get a headache thinking about all this" Regina groaned clutching her head. She had a bad habit of talking to herself, something Jewel had picked up from her. "Maybe a glass of wine -- or maybe a few bottles -- will help"
With that, she composed herself and walked out of the room and into the still busy streets of Stroybrooke. What a puddle she is in.
