Chapter 1

Five years later

"Al, wake up it's your lucky day" I open my eyes slowly, why are they waking me up so early breakfast doesn't start until 8. I slowly seat up from the bed and look at the oficer who call me. She was Miss Brown the nicest security guard in this hell hole. She was smaller than me about 5'4, I was almost 5'6. She had brown hair and little freckles on her cheeks.

"What? Are they finally serving us real food?" She laugh and open my cell.

"You wish, but you don't have to worry about it anymore"

I stood up from the unconfutable bed that I have been sleeping for five years. And look at her confuse.

"What are you talking about?"
"Congratulation you are free"

I started laughing, my laugh could be heard in the whole prison, and I think I woke everybody up. "Very funny Brown but I got five more years you can't fool me anymore"

She use to make a lot of pranks on me and at first I remember I got mad at her and I actually hated her at first but now maybe if you meet her outside the prison she could be the worst person you ever meet but when you have been in a prison full with angry woman and abusive officers for over five years you will learn to love woman like her.

"Believe what you want my job is to take you out" she open the door cell wide for me to step out, I was steal looking at her and carefully stood out of my cell. When I came out she close the cell and walk in front of me "fallow me"

I was walking with her but still I was careful, Miss Brown was capable of everything. I could see everybody watching me. Brown open a door and we step in a hall, she kept walking without saying a word. "Seriously Brown I'm sleepy, whatever prank you have for me couldn't you wait until it was ten in the morning or something?"

She still dint say a word and open a door to the left when I walk inside, it look like a storage room. She told me to stay where I was and she enter were all the boxes were and then came out with my stuff. The stuff they make me take off when they put me here. It wasn't mush it was just my close, my BIG close and erring's.

I look at Brown a little shock "Now go change they are waiting for you"

She left without letting me say a word.

Is this really happening. No, Miss Brown has done this before... well she never took it this far but it must be a prank I'm still up for five more years. I still change and when I came out, I had to hold my pants or they will fall exposing my underwear, she was waiting for me and signal me to fallow her. She stop in front of a door and I almost crash on her.

"Look Brown am not falling for your tricks so just give up"

She sigh "Look Alena believe whatever you want, am just going to tell you am happy for you, you really deserve better and I hope that you can start a new life and I wish you the best"

Is she serious?

"Walk through that door and they will open the gates"

I was a little shock, is this really happening finally after five years am out. I just nod at her still having some doubts and open the door. The sun heat me hard, if you have been five years in prison you would have known how my eyes felt right now. I kept walking and saw the big gate, I look behind waiting for Brown to tell me it was all part of the plan but she was just there smiling at me. A real smile not like am-about-to-pull-the-best-prank-ever smile, it was caring. I look at front again and saw the gates open in front of me.

When they open completely I look back again and Brown just wave at me, I wave back and walk slowly. I felt the fresh air hit my face and this just felt unreal.
