Chapter 21

"This is beautiful" I said

"You have been saying that a lot today" Daniel said laughing

We were in a beautiful outdoor restaurant next to the beach. Everything was amazing not only the view it had but the environment this restaurant held.

"How can I not say it, it is a really beautiful restaurant" I could see Daniels eyes lit up "Don't tell me this is one of your restaurants?" I ask surprise 

"Yes, and it really pleases me that you think is amazing" he looked very proud. I could see he really love what he did.

"A lot of people must love it, look at this place is pack" I said showing him around. The place was full of hungry costumers and there was a huge line outside waiting to get in.

"Yes, but it means more coming from you" it surprises me his response, there are other people who were more important than me in this world, people that opinions actually matter and can make your business grow.

"Why my opinion matter to you so much? I am not an export in restaurants" 

His face reflected some emotions I couldn't decipher "Your opinion matters more than..."

He was interrupted by the waiter with our food and I could see the frustration on Daniels face by the interruption.

"Good morning, mam and sir, here are your foods if you need anything just ask" I have to admit I was glad for the interruption, since we left the house Daniel has been too attentive and too romantic. He would open the door for me, hold my hand and just saying how beautiful I was or how beautiful I look. I have to admit it made me flutter, but I needed him to stop.

"Thank you" I said to the waiter and he left "let's eat, this looks really good" I said quickly interrupting what Daniel was about to say.

The food really looks amazing it was a perfect Instagram picture, I was so focus on the magnificent food that I dint even notice that Daniel was looking at me this whole time.

"What?" I ask to confuse

He just shook his head and started eating. We were there for about an hour talking, eating and Daniel showing me the best dishes the chef was serving. I really had a good time, I have to admit he was really easy to talk to, I felt comfortable around him. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I just did he has this energy that attract me to him and even though I tried to stay away I just find myself crawling back to him.

When we finish eating, Daniel invited me for a walk on the beach, I was thankful for the silence you could only hear the waves crashing. I could feel Daniels eyes on me but I just tried to ignore it and enjoy the walk. 

"Can I ask you a question?" he ask stooping where he was.

"Sure" I said a little unsure.

"What do you think about me?" there was a little of anger on his voice, if he wasn't this close I would have probably miss it.

"Daniel you need to stop asking approval, You are a great business man, I have seen what you can do and your business are better than e.."

"No, not in business, as a person" he was serious, I was quite confused because his face was in business mode, but his question wasn't related to it. He must have seen my confusion that he put his hand around my waist and hold me close to him. He moves his face closer to me and whisper "what do you think about me?"

I was shock by how close we were, his face was centimeter away from my face. I could smell the sweet mint from his breath and my breath seems to have left my lungs. When I finally register his question, I tried to pull away from him, but his hold was too strong.

"Daniel let me go" I said as a warning, but he still wouldn't let me go.

"Not until you answer my question" He was talking with a calm voice but in his eyes, I could see the need for my answer.

"I don't date the people that I am about to work with" I said pleading god that he would let me go but it seems to not be enough for him.

"That is bull***, answer the question Ares. You have been ignoring me every time I ask you something relative to this, so answer me"

Now I was getting nervous, I do have to admit that I found him attractive but not even him will distract me from my purpose. He was a womanizer; he like to be with different woman and never stay long enough for a real relationship. He may be a good friend but in relationship he sucks at it, the reports Mr. Peterson gave me had every relationship he has ever been in and there where more than two paper full of names.

"It looks like you are trying to convince yourself" my conches said "you have to admit you have feeling for him you are just scare he will see who you really are and betray you like his dad did to you"

I took a deep breath and look at him "Why does it matter? it will never work"

"Are you always this negative in relationship?" he said with a smirk

"No, I am just realistic" I was still trying to pull him away, but he was too strong for me.

"You still haven't answered my question, how do you feel about me" he said getting even closer if that is even possible.

"that wasn't the question" Daniel roll his eyes annoyed and pull my face to his. He started kissing me, I was pushing him away but again he wouldn't budge. The more I push, the harder he kisses me; it was sweet and egger at the same time. I started to give in and kiss him back, I couldn't hold myself it felt like the first time I kiss him. The kiss started to get heated and he pulls me up, I put my legs around him. We never pull away as he sat me on a rock. His hand roam around my body and it wasn't until we were out of breath that I pull away. He rested his head on mine and the only thing you could hear was our heavy breathing.

"Now I know how you feel about me"
