Chapter 17

Today I was more nervous than ever, maybe it was because I was going to see Daniel after I have been ignoring him. I was so glad Peter decided to accompany me, just thinking of going alone would be terrifying.

I was almost ready; the makeup artist is just doing the finishing touches. Peter got here about two hours ago with my dress, Mack who is the makeup artist and Nancy who was a tailer. I was so tired, and I haven't even gotten to the event.

"Okay done, you look amazing" Mack said looking at me from de mirror.

"You did an amazing job, I love it" It really was amaze of what he did

The dress was amazing, Peter really has good taste. It was a long tight yellow dress with a low cut and the makeup was simple with a yellow showdown and a lot of glitter.

"You look stunning" said Peter

I turn around to look at him directly and smile "Thank you, you look great too" Peter was wearing a Black sute and a yellow tuck. Joseph call me telling me he could not make it because of a family problem, so Peter volunteer to accompany me.

"Shall we go?" Peter said extending his hand to me.

I gladly took it and we went to the car.

The event was in the Thompsons hotel and to say it was an amazing hotel. It had a classic structure, with a stunning gold color that could catch anyone's attention. We were in line with the other limousines to get to the event. It was completely full. How many people were coming?

When we finally got to the center peter got out first and extended his hand to me, I took it and got out of the limousine. I almost got blinded by the flashes of cameras, people were screaming my name and asking me questions.

"Are you and Mr. Daniel together"

"Are you two together? Are you married?"

I just turn of all of their questions off and focus on taking the perfect picture so I could leave. However, peter had other plans, he pulls me closer to the paparazzies and whisper in my ear "Answer some questions"

Everyone tried to get closer to me and started to shout questions.

"You were seen a couple of times with Daniel Thompson are you two together or is it just for fun?"

"What?? What kind of question is that?" I just took a deep breath and tried to answer as calm as possible.

I drew a fake smile and said "Oh no, we are just discussing some work"

"So, you are working together?" another man said.

"It's still in process, we will see" I said trying to not say to much.

"Are you two together? Married? Is that why you turn Daniel down?" a woman said pointing at me and Peter. I can't believe all these questions. I look at Peter and couldn't contain my laugh

I was about to denies everything when Peter interrupted me "that is enough questions for today, thank you all we will leave now."

The people started yelling more questions about if we were married or not as Peter pull me to the door. "why did you pull me away, now they think that we are together and married" don't get me wrong, Mr. Peter look good for a fifty something man, but I just dint want people to think that we are married I saw him almost as a father figure.

"When you cut their questions short it will cause intrig in them and will leave them wanting more" he said smiling.

"Yeah but now it's just weird"

"Why" he looks at me serious. I just roll my eyes and focus on getting to the event.

Infront of us there were doble doors open where everybody was entering and inside it was better than the outside. There were 4 chandeliers in the ceiling and the design of the room was like the ball room in the Beauty and the best movie. It was so grand, there were people already dancing, talking and some of them drunk.

"This is the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen" I said looking around.

"Many here would disagree to that statement." I look at Peter confuse, and he look at everyone in the room. Everyone was looking at me, some with lust and others, mostly woman, with jealousy. I felt immediately uncomfortable.

"Don't slouch" said peter pinching me. Instantly I stood straight and raise my head.

I tried to look at anything else and my eyes were cought by a very familiar person.

Daniel was standing next to the bar with a couple of people around him and a girl around his arm. I couldn't control the feeling inside my chest, he brought a date. He was looking at me intensely and I couldn't seem to look away. He looks great, he was wearing a midnight blue suits and a blue/white strips tie. His hair was pull back in a really elegant way.

I finally look away when Peter pull me to our table and pull a chair for me.

"I see my plan is working" Peter said sipping on his drink.

"What exactly is your plan"

"Well first we are going to make him think that we are together" Peter said leaning closer to me I was about to pull back when Peter stop my movement. "Don't worry I am not going to do anything; I know you may feel a little uncomfortable right now, but it is just until he sees us" he said with a smile and a very sexy smile.

"What do you think he is going to do? It's not like he would care, he has his date"

"Well if he dints care why is he looking at us so angrily?" he said straightening to his seat "you have a great advantage, we just wanted for you to make a deal with him but now we want you to get even closer, you need to make him fall in love with you"
