Chapter 27

Re cab

My heart started beating so hard that I was scared that he could hear it. When he saw that I dint say anything he continue talking.

"When we were waiting for news of dad and Daniel, I saw the same expression of impatient to hear what would happen and when we got the call and heard what happen the same shook of your worst nightmare was seen drew your eyes.... Alena"

"I think you have mistaken me for another person" I said as calm as I could, but my whole body was in panic mode.

Mathew started to laugh "you know sense the first day I saw you at the plane I knew, but I too thought I was crazy because you know... Alena is in prison how did she get out? Who got her out? Then dad started talking about Mr. Peterson and how to win you over and then things started to connect. Mr. Peterson never like my father and he would look for whatever to destroy my father. And then come Peter a faithful man my dad's right had man and then one day he just leaves, he was the only one who care so much about you he was begging us to not accuse you. And the way you just appear out of nowhere was suspicious and the way you went to my brother first. I give it to you, you are brave because fulling my brother is not easy, I guess he is a foul in love."

He was completely right expect the part of Daniel, he wasn't plan at all; plans change because of him. that handsome idiot just had to step into my life and made me fall in love with him.

"I take your silence as I am not crazy"

"What are you going to do?" I ask, he already knew I wasn't going to fight him. And to be honest I was already tired of all of this; I know Mathew was going to tell Daniel and he is going to...

"I want to turn myself in"

I was completely surprise by his words. "you want to take my place?" I ask in completely shock

"I dint want all of this, and I don't want to ruin my family. I know I ruin your life and I know you want my father to pay but he's the type of person that does whatever for his family. He's just a good person who did a horrible thing. You know he dint know it was me until you were sentence, He found out when I left the pen drive in my bed. He was so piss off but then decided to say nothing"

I was completely shock by his word, when he saw the state that I was on. He took my hand and guide me to the car. I dint know where he was taking me until I heard the car stop. We were back at the villa.

"Please Alena let me make thing right" after he said those work, he got out of the car and walk to my side to open the door for me and taking me to his room.

"I know I screw up but I want to make thing right" he walk to his closet and walk out with a manila folder.

That must be the file

"For all of this year I have been miserable, the first year I couldn't even sleep, I stop eating. The guilt was killing me" I could hear the desperation on his voice, and I couldn't help it but fill sad for him "My mother doesn't know anything, so she thought something happen to me and put me in therapy. My father was angry because he thought I was going to spill it to her, and she would tell. So, I had to live with it, but I can't anymore" he looks at the file in his hand and then at me "This is the proof we need to clear your name"

He extended the file to me and it was so unreal, I was going to be free to be me. But before I could take it Mathew pulls the file to him. I look at him confuse "There is one condition"

"what do you want?" I ask

"You can't tell anyone not even my family, I will just tell them that I need to leave and be alone"

"Mathew that is not going to work if you go to jail is not going to be for a few months"

"I know put right now I can't tell them if I do they won't let me do it"

I nodded not sure how this will help but agree anyways

"And you need to leave my family alone especially Daniel, I will take full responsibility but quiet, I don't want anyone to know especially the paparazzi they will destroy my family's name. And Daniel deserves better he doesn't need to be heartbroken because of me. He deserves to have someone who truly loves him and cares for him"

"I do love him"  I wanted to say

His words made my heart stop, can I really leave Daniel. I knew one day we were going to part when he relies who I really was, but I always imagine him leaving me not the other way around. I truly prefer for him to leave me; I don't want to hurt him.

"Do we have a deal?" he ask 

When he saw that I wasn't going to say anything he spoke again "I will give you time to think about it" Mathew left me with a head full of different thoughts. I should take the deal this is what I wanted, then why do I feel so sad and hurt?
