Call me Ares

Chapter 23

It was already 11 o'clock when Denisse came to my room waking me up. Denisse had this spirit of a child and I don't mean it in a mean way but rather the contrary. She was explaining to me the event from today.

"Some friends of mine, that I haven't seen in while are coming. I hope you don't mind I know you just came out to the world and..."

I interrupted her by putting my hand on her shoulders "Denisse, I don't mind at all, and anyways this is your vacation and home you don't need my permission for anything. I am flatter that you are worried about me but really it's okay"

I could see her shoulders realizing from the tension "oh, I am so glad. When I talk to Daniel, he just scared me a little"

"Daniel?" did Daniel tell her that I was uncomfortable?

"Yeah, he said that 'why I invited a lot of people when this vacation was about you' and to be honest, I did this for you too" I was confused "I know you must be confused but this really was for you I know that you work too much and... When was the last time you went to a party? You are always busy with your business. We haven't known each other for that long but... I don't know you seem like a really nice person and I want you to take this vacation to relax and just have fun"

I dint know what to say to her, it was really thoughtful of her to think of me. "Thank you, Denisse, I have been a little stress." Even though what I said was truth I was thinking more of the opportunity. Everybody would be outside, and the house would be alone. I could us that time to get into the office.

"We should get dress then" I said in an exited voice and Denisse follow.

We were in my room, Denisse looking through my clothed looking for a swimsuit, it wasn't until I hear a little gasp sound that I knew Denisse found one. She shows it to me, and I knew she was going to choose that one for me. It was a two-peace white swimsuit and its strings where chains. It was too sexy for me so I tried to motivate her to wear it, but she dints bug, she drew it to me and left so I could get dress.

When I change, I put a white robe over me and went downstairs. In the kitchen you could see many maids rushing with food. From here you could hear the music from outside and the conversations. I didn't think it would be many people but there where more than 30 people here.

Outside there were some playing bolieball others taking a suntan and others just having a conversation. I step outside a little uncomfortable because I dint know anybody here, but I tried to not let it affect me or just not let anybody see my unconfort. As I got closer people started looking at me, I found Denisse talking with Monica when she saw me, she came to my rescue.

"You look great, but you could look even better if you take that cover off, it would be even better" she said raising her eyebrows.

"You are funny Denisse I think I am okay like this" I said sarcastically

"If you say so, come I want to introduce you to everybody" she took my hand and pull me to a group. As we got closer to them Denisse took the string that holds the robe and untie it so my swimsuit could be seen. I was about to tell her something when we got to the group.

"Hey everybody this is Ares"

In this group was Monica next to obviously Daniel, who was looking at me with hunger in his eyes, Mattheu was also there with a serious look and some friend of Denisse.

"Ares you already know Monica and my brothers, this is Daisy, Derick, Cole, Susan and Drake" We exchange greeting, and I could feel Daniel washing my every movement.

"Hello beautiful" said a voice behind me

"oh, and this is Demon, Daniels friend" Denisse said a little annoyed "Demon this is Ares"

Demon look at me a little surprise "So you are the one and only Mrs. Nemesis" he took my hand and place a kiss on it. I just smile at him and nodded.

"Let's go play boliball" said Monica standing up interrupting our exchange. Everybody agrees and walk to the net, except Daniel and me.

He was about to say something when I interrupted him "Don't say that I look beautiful"

"I wasn't, I was going to say you look hot" I roll my eyes

I knew he was going to mention something, he just doesn't seem to leave me alone. As I walk to the nearest seat, I remember the conversation I had with Denisse.

"Did you tell Denisse that I was uncomfortable with all of this?"

"No of course not... I told her that this trip was about you and for her to not be selfish" he said with a serious face.

"Why did you do that? this trip is not about me it was supposed to be about your family"

"So, you do agree with me that it wasn't about bringing friends and having a party" he had a huge smirk on his face I knew arguing with Daniel was hopeless. And I also know that he likes it but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction, so I just took my robe of and lay down on the beach chair.

"ouch" I heard someone yell

As I look back everybody was looking at me and Damon was on the sand and it look like the beach ball hit him pretty bad. I may have been the cause of it I shouldn't have taken my robe off

Daniel quickly steps in front of me and I just couldn't seem to stop my laugh.

"I dint know you were the jealous time" before he could answer I close my eyes and relax on the chair.

"I bet my sister chose that for you" I could hear a little of annoyance on his voice.

I heard a little of commotion and look were the noise was coming from. Daniel was pulling a chair next to me. "You know you don't have to be with me"

"I know I don't have to, but I want too"

This was going to be hard; I hope Daniel wasn't going to be with me the whole time. I need to get to that office and with Daniel next to me all day that was going to be impossible.

"Let me take you out" I heard Daniel said

I have to admit that I really wanted to go with him, but this is all just to mess up, I am mess up.

"Daniel we shouldn't" I said trying to avoid his eyes

"Why? Give me a reason why we shouldn't, and don't give me that "because we work together crap" because with what happen yesterday...." He stops talking and I immediately look at him. He was seated close to me, his face leaning closer to mine and I felt a dejavu from last night. "Just say yes"

His lips were leaning closer to mine and I felt myself give in. I had the eager to say yes and just forget everything, what can a simple date do?

"Daniel come play with us"

I snap out of it and move my head to the other way and Daniel was piss off by the interruption. Monica was close to Daniel with her hand on his shoulders capturing his attention. To be honest I could have been jealous if a girl did that but Monica, even do she was my age, she acted like a kid.

"Please, playing with you is so much better" she said it looking directly at me like that comment could affect me. I just smile at her and lean closer to Daniel "You should go play I am just going to look for my phone in my room" I lean even closer until our lips were inches to each other and kiss him.

Daniel was more than surprise by my action, but he still gave in, the kiss was soft and sweet we quickly pull apart and I walk away. I dint look at Monica, but I could feel her eyes at me, and I knew she wish that her eyes could shot lesser at me. Even though I love to mess with Monica, there was a part of me that wanted to taste Daniel lips more.
