Call me Ares

Chapter 13

Thank God it's Friday I have been stressful with work all week attending to multiple meetings and making many phone calls regarding to my hotels. In one of the meetings the manager of Ohana's hotel came to give me an update, apparently there has been some problems and I have to go to Hawaii next week.

But the days got easier, Daniel and I in the past days have been getting closer. One day I was walking trying to find a place to have lunch when I found this tiny restaurant called "Delicia". When I tried it I quickly fell in love with it. I show it to Daniel and of course by his first glance of the restaurant he dint like it but I made him taste it and he actually love it and now that's our spot.

I was currently at my office with Mr. Peter finishing some things before I go. He came earlier saying that he was bored and that I would give him company. He was seated in front of my desk reading something and I couldn't help but look at him.

"What do you even do Peter?" I said still looking at my computer

"I'm your guidance"

"My guidance?" he just nodded and went back to his book "but don't you have... like ... a real job?"

Without looking at me he said "I'm retired Ares now my job is to take care of you" I smile at his respond, I was really happy that he cares for me. At list someone in this world care for me, I know Marry cares for me but it's good to know that someone care for Ares.

An hour later I finally finish with my work and Peter and I walk to the limousine.

"See you tomorrow Peter"

He gave me a smile and a nod before walking to his car. Luis open the door for me "thank you Luis how was your day?" I said putting my bag on the car while looking at him.

"Good thank you Ares"

I nodded and got in the car. We were in the direction of my apartment when I got a text from Daniel saying

Mr. Handsome

Come to my office!

What does he want? I told Luis to make a turn to Thompson Inc.

When we arrive I quickly got off the car and told Luis to go home. Daniel can just give me a ride to my apartment.

When I got to his floor I was surprise not seen his usual mean secretary... damn I never learn her name. But in front was another girl she had dirty blond hair with light brown eyes. She look at me and gave me a polite smile "Hello, how may I help you Miss?"

I return the smile feeling a little bit weird been receive with such a welcoming smile. "Hi I'm just here to see Mr. Daniel"

"What's your name?" I was about to answer when I heard Daniels voice behind me.

"Ares" I turn around to see a cheerful Daniel. I have never seen him like this when he was at his building he always haves his business face. "Ares this is Miss. Jane she's my new secretary and Miss. Jane this is Ares Wells, every time she come just let her pass."

Jane look at Daniel with surprise. She look at me again but this time with a wider smile. Extending her hand to me she said "it's really nice to meet you" I gave her an awkward smile little confuse of the sudden happiness and shock her hand.

Daniel suddenly clear his drought taking everybody's attention "Come I just need to finish somethings and we can leave" he said signaling me to follow him.

For the first time I find myself walking to the mysterious place where a long time ago I wasn't allow to enter. At the end of the hall there was the door to Thompson's office. We walk dipper and dipper until we were in front of the door. Just seen this door brought many memories. I took a deep breath to control my anger and just follow Daniel inside.
