"Ari, meet the boys downstairs in 10 for dinner, and dress nice." my dad said as he knocked on my door. i got off of my bed and brushed my awkwardly wavy, dark hair.
i looked around for something nice to wear, so i grabbed my high waisted denim jeans and a nice blouse.
"hey, are you ready, Ariadne?" a voice said on the other side of the door, the voice that made my name sound beautiful.
"yes, just a second." i opened the door and allowed him to step inside. his blue eyes looked me up and down, and he smiled at me.
i put my shoes on and we shut my door and went downstairs.
we walked acrossed the street to a nice diner and piled up at a table. as i walked past my dad i noticed he was talking about me to a few of the older men.
"if you hear any screams throughout the night, please don't panic. it's Ariadne. her boyfriend died in a car accident about a month ago, it's still rough on her." he said in a low voice.
i could see river look at me out of the corner of my eye, and he reached over and rubbed my back.
a waitress came by to take our orders, Corey went to order his food until he was stopped by River, "where are your manners? we have a lady at the table. Ariadne, tell the waitress what you would like."
"uh, can i just have a lemonade, and a salad please?" she smiled and wrote it down.
the rest of the boys ordered their food, and River and i made small talk while eating our salads.
River and i finished early, so we headed back to the hotel.
"i need to shower, and head to bed. if you want to go through my records and hangout in here for a little bit then, you can."
i pushed myself up and grabbed a change of clothes and went into the bathroom. i heard record of The Beatles start to play, it was Hey Jude.
i heard him start to sing, and he has such a lovely voice.
i turned the water on and started to sing as well.

i dried my hair, and put my clothes on. i walked out
"i heard you singing, in the shower. you have a lovely voice." he said.
"i heard you singing, in the shower. you have a lovely voice." i mocked back and we both snickered.
"you know my middle name is Jude? my parents love that song." he said.
i smiled, "it's very pretty."
"well, i must get going. i will wake you up in the morning, goodnight, Ariadne."
"goodnight, River."
