The Shocking

I rush into the hospital and run into her room. I stop at the door frame and see Madison sitting up and when I enter the room she smiles. "Shawn." She says. I rush to her side and place my lips on hers.

Madison's pov: I can hear everything going on. They're going to unplug me. How can my own family do that to me? I need to get put of here. "I got to go." Shawn says and he kisses my head. I hear him crying. I can't let him brake.

I try my hardest to get out. I see a light right above me. Is this it? Am I dead? No I'm not my eyes open and I start gagging. They run into the room and remove the tube. "Shawn!" I yell. "Madison you're alive?" Says the doctor "It's a miracle." She says. "Shawn? Where's Shawn?" I ask. "Oh he's at home would you like me to give him a call?" Asks the doctor. "Yes please." I say. After a few minutes she comes back in. "He hasn't answered but we left him a voicemail." She says. I nod. "Would you like us to contact your family?" She asks. I shake my head. "Not until Shawn come." I say. "You can call them when he arrives." I say. She smiles and nods. She walks out. I sit and wait for Shawn. It's now 10. I hear footsteps coming fast. Soon I see Shawn at the doorframe. I sit up and smile. "Shawn." I say I put a smile on my face. He rushes to my side and kisses me. I'm no longer weak so I stand up and get dressed while Shawn is downstairs. I put my shirt on and just as I finish pulling it down Shawn comes in. I turn around and walk up to him. "I'm so glad you're ok." He says. I smile and kiss him. A few hours go by and my family gets here. Shawn sees them. "Uh I should go." He says. He was going to give me a kiss and he sees my family watching so he gives me a hug instead. "Oh uh ok?" I say and give him a hug back. He nods to my family and leaves the room. "What was that about?" I ask them as I give them hugs. "Oh it's nothing." They say. "What is it? I'm not dumb I can tell when you guys are lieing." I say. "Well we don't like him." Says Aiden. "What? Why?" I ask them. "Because it was all his fault this happened to you." They said. "Yeah it is. He's the reason I'm alive." I said. "What do you mean?" They ask. "He's the only one that talked to me when I was in here. He's the one that's been paying for the medical bills. He's the one that freaking saved me when that guy tried to rape me... twice.He's the one that actually had faith in me that I'll get better." I said. "We had faith." Said my mom. "No, you didn't. You guys were going to unplug my breathing machine." I said. They stood quiet. "Wait did you say he saved you from rape and payed the bills?" My brothers asked. "Yeah." I said. "You were raped?" They yelled. "Yeah... but Shawn came into the room and hit the guy that was raping me. Shawn didn't take advantage of me. He could've while I was still drugged nut he didn't. He's the one that put my clothes on." I said. They stood quiet again. "And he's the one that rushed into the school and pushes the guy off of me. I would've been even more hurt if he didn't catch my head. I wouldn't have been here if he didn't pay the bills that I know you guys wouldn't have payed because they are so much. You shouldn't dislike him... as a matter of fact you should thank him." I said. "He didn't pay for the bills the doctor said the insurance covered that." Said my dad. "Yeah she only said that because Shawn told them to. He knew you guys didn't like him." I said. "Wait so you mean Shawn payed for everything for you even when he knew we didn't like him?" Asked the twins. "Yeah, you all judged him to fast. You are gonna have to like him to because I'm going to choose him I just need to tell him." I said. "What do you mean choose?" They asked. I told them everything. "So you and Shawn weren't even dating and he still did all that for you?" Asked my mom. "Yeah." I said. "I'll be back." Said Andrew as he walked out if the room. Aiden followed.

Shawn's pov: I left when her family got there. I went outside and sat on the bench. I was there for a while. I saw Andrew and Aiden walk outside. I got up. "Look Shawn I'm sorry for what we said before. We were wrong." They said. "Oh no its fine." I said. "No it's not Shawn. Thank you for everything you did for her. You treat her right." They said. "I will." I said. They gave me a bro hug and they went back inside. Then the rest of the family came out and gave me a hug. After that they left. I went back inside.

Madison's pov: My family left and Shawn came back in. "Hey." He says. I look up from what I'm doing. (Packing my things) "Hey." I say as I put a smile on my face. "Can I tell you something Shawn?" I ask. "Yeah of course." He says. "Ok. Shawn I choose you. I don't want anyone else but you. You're the only one for me. You get me in ways no one else does. You saved my life multiple times. I really appreciate it. Shawn I'm in love with you and I choose you." I said walking closer to him. "Are you serious or are you playing with my emotions?" He asks. I laugh. I kiss his lips. "Now why would I do that?" I ask. He smiles. I walk back to the bed and continue packing. "I'm going to go get some coffee. You want anything?" He asks. "Yeah. Get me decaf please." I say. He nods his head and goes get them. I now have to face the opposite direction of the door to get the rest of my stuff. I continue packing and Shawn sneaks up on me. He wraps his arms around my waist. I jump. I turn around so now I'm facing him. "You scared me." I said. "Sorry. You should get used to it though." He laughed. I smiled. "Why it's not going to happen often." I said and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. He smiled and handed me the coffee. "You done?" He asked. "Just about." I said putting the last item in. "And done." I said. "Ok let me go sign you out." He said. "Ugh but you just got back." I said pulling him back. "I know it'll be quick." He said. "Promise?" I said. He smiled and gave me a kiss. "Promise." He said and walked out into the hall. He came back in a while after. "Told you." He said. I smiled. "Yeah yeah."I said. "Ready?" He asked. "Ready." I said he got the stuff and grabbed my hand. "I can carry that Shawn." I said. "No I got it." He said. We got to his car and he put the stuff in. I sat in the car and he drove us home.

We got to my house. I walk inside and see all the girls stuff is gone. "Where'd everything go?" I ask looking around. "They moved out because they couldn't live on their own." He said. "How long was I in the hospital?" I asked. "1 year." He said. "Wait so I missed everything?" I asked. He nodded his head. "Are you serious? I missed graduation?" I asked. He can tell I was getting upset. He walks up to me and gives me a kiss. I immediately start to calm down but I'm still upset. We go up to my room and I start unpacking. He lays on the bed and turns the tv on. "Come." He says patting spot next to him and opening is arms. "I can't I have to unpack." I say. "You've been packing and unpacking to long." He says. "Just for a few minutes." He says. "Fine." I say and lay down on the bed next to him. I lay my head on his chest and run my fingers through his hair. "Did you tell Cam yet?" He asks. "CAMERON! I completely forgot to tell him." I said sitting up. "When are you going to tell him?" He asked. "The next time I see him." I say. "Don't stress over it cause then you'll end up in the hospital again." He says and kisses my cheek. "I'll try." I said. He checks his watch and gets up. "I got to go I'll see you tomorrow." He says. "Ok." We walk to the front door. "Bye." He said. "Bye." I say. "Love you." "Love you to." I said and give him a kiss bye. I go to my room and go to sleep.

Its morning now. I can't believe I missed all my senior moments. I start to cry. I go onto my computer and go onto instagram. I go onto my friends profiled and I see pictures of everything that they did. I start to cry even more. I see a bunch of pictures from graduation. I didn't even get to apply to college. I don't know what to do. I hear a knock on the door and I wipe my tears. I go downstairs and answer it. I see Shawn. "Madison why are you crying?" He asks as he wraps me in a hug. "It's nothing Shawn I'm fine." I say. "Madison you're not fine why were you crying?" He asks. "It's just because I missed graduation and I missed sending my college applications and I don't onow what to do. Shawn I can't go to college." I say and I start crying. "Hey hey hey. Don't worry we'll figure something out." He says putting his hands on my face and wiping my tears away with his thumb. There's another knock on the door and I answer it seeing Cameron at the door. "Cameron" I say in a shocked way. I give him a hug. "Hi." I say letting him in. "I heard you got out of the hospital so I came to visit." He said. I let him in. "Let me go get some drinks. Shawn help me." I say pulling him into the kitchen with me. "I need to tell him." I said. "What are you going to say?" He asks. "I don't know should I wait a while longer." I ask. "Madison you have to tel Cameron." He says. "Tell me what?" Cameron asked coming into the kitchen. Shawn and I exchange looks. "Oh I think I know what this is about." He says. "You do?" I ask. "Yeah. It's him you chose him." He says. "How'd you know?" I ask. "It was obvious you were." He said. "It's fine I'm hapoy for you two. I have to go I just came to check up on you." He says. "Ok bye Cam." I say. He walks out the door. I turn to Shawn. "That was easier than I thought." I said. "See I told you not to stress." He says. "I know thank you Shawn. For being understanding." I say and give him a kiss. "Gladly." He says. I smile. We go onto the couch and watch a movie. He puts his arm around me and I lean on him. We fall asleep like that.
