The Talk

I woke up. There's one week off of school so I'm going back to Canada to visit my family. I got in the cab and went to the airport. I handed them my ticket and got on the plane. We flew off.

Shawn's pov: We have a week off of school so I'm going to Canada with Cameron. We're already waiting at the airport. We give them our ticket and get on the plane. We take off.

When we land we get our stuff and get off the plane.

Madison's pov: I got off the plane and get in the taxi. I get to my house and unpack. When I finish unpacking I go to my family's house. I knock on the door and they give me hugs. Then they let me in. I get a call from Cameron. I go into their backyard and answer the call. "Hey" I say. "Hey Mads." He said. "What's up?" I ask. "Are you in Canada?" He asks. "Yeah why?" I ask. "Wanna go to the lake?" He asks. "Sure when?" I ask. "Does 30 minutes work for you?" He asks. "Yeah." I said. "Great it's a date." He said. I smiled and hung up.

I walked back inside. "Well I'm going to go. I'll see you tomorrow." I said. "Ok honey drive safe." Said my mom. I nodded and drove home. When I got home I started getting ready for my date with Cameron. I put on a black romper and some wedges. I curled my hair. I put on my makeup. Just as I finished there was a knock on the door. I opened it and saw Shawn. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "I heard you were in Canada to." He said. "What do you want Shawn?" I ask. "You." He said entering my house without permission. "Shawn you need to leave." I said. "Why?" He asks. "I have a date." I said. "With who?" He asks. "Shawn I don't have to explain anything to you. Now leave." I said. "Madison we need to talk." He said. "No we don't Shawn." I said. "Yes we do. Madison you're the love of my life. I can't let you go." He said. "Then you should've thought of that before." I said. I checked the time. "Shawn you made me late." I said grabbing my purse and jacket. "You're ditching me for your date?" He asks. "Yes the date you've made me late for." I said. I walked out of the house and closed the door. Shawn came out. "Madison please." He begged. "If I agree to talk to you will you leave me alone?" I asked. He nodded. "Ok I'll call you after my date." I said. I turned around and started walking. I checked the time on my phone and it's passed a long time since I was supposed to meet Cameron. I took my wedges off and started running.

I got there and saw that he wasn't there. I started putting my shoes back on. I turned around and bumped into Cameron. "Woah are you ok?" He asks. "Yeah I'm fine." I said. "You look beautiful." He said. I blushed. "Thanks." I said. "Why were you so late?" He asks. "I was handling some stuff." I said. He nodded and took my hand. We walked to the other side of the lake. "Aww Cameron what is this?" I asked with a smile on my face looking at the blanket with strawberries and grapes. "It's a romantic snack" He said. "Do you like it?" He asks. "Like it? Shawn I love it." I said. "Shawn?" He says. "Shawn? Why are you bringing him up?" I ask. "You just called me Shawn." He said. "No I didn't I called you Shawn CAMERON I called you Cameron" I said fast. "Why did you call me Shawn?" He asked. "I don't know Cameron I'm so sorry." I said. "Madison why did you call me Shawn?" He asks. "Shawn! I didn't call you that." I said. "You just did it again." He says annoyed. "Cameron I didn't mean it." I said. "Yeah ok." He said. He walked away. "Ugh!" I say to myself. I walk back home.

When I get in my block I get my phone out and go on my contacts. I get Shawn's contact out and I'm about to call but I reach my house and see Shawn sitting on my porch swing. I put my phone away. "Shawn? I told you I'll call you." I said. "I know but I wanted to be here right when you came back." He said. I nodded. "Why are you back so fast?" He asks. "Oh well I kinda my be accidentally called him the wrong name." I said sitting next to him. "What did you call him?" He asked. "Ha well I called him Shawn." I said. He smiled. "Ok so Shawn what did you want to talk about so badly?" I asked. "What Harley told you was a complete lie. She black mailed me." He said. "How?" I asked. "She said I can't be with you or she'll tell you that I wasn't drunk and I came on to her but I didn't. Then it happened at a party and she found out and she told you." He said. "Shawn I know I told you I'll talk to you but I don't have time for lies." I said getting up. He grabbed my hand. I looked into his eyes. He was telling the truth. He pulled me down and I landed on his lap. "Oops sorry." I said moving back to the spot I was in before. "So what really did happen?" I asked. He stood quiet. "Shawn! You never told me. Don't you think I deserve to know?" I asked. "Mads of course you do." He said. "Then why won't you tell me?" I asked. "Because I don't want to hurt you even more." He said. He looked away. I grabbed his face and turned him to me. "Shawn you won't hurt me. We aren't together anymore. I think I'm over it." I said. "After we finished talking I got dressed and went to the party. I got drunk and I thought Harley was you. I kissed her and we went up to the room. The next morning I didn't know anything that happened. I felt an arm wrap around me and I turned and saw Harley. Then i knew what I did. I got out of bed and rushed to the airport to tell you what happened knowing there was a 100% chance of loosing you. Losing you was the worst thing that has ever happened to me." He said with tears filling his eyes. "Aw Shawn." I said wrapping my arms around him. "Shawn it was the hardest thing for me to do." I said pulling apart. He pulled me close to him with our faces inches apart. "Can you forgive me?" He asks. I kissed him. "Shawn I already have." I said after the kiss. He smiled. "It's getting late I should go to sleep." I said. "Wait! What are we now?" He asks. I turn around and smile. "Goodnight Shawn." I said walking in my house and closing the door.
