Blackmail

Shawn's pov: "You can't stop me." I say. "You see I can you're famous." Says Madison. She backs away. "What are you going to do?" I ask. She comes closer and places her lips on mine. "I'm sorry." She says. I'm confused. "OH MY GOSH YOU'RE SHAWN MENDES!" She yells. I turn and see a mob of people running towards me. "MADISON!" I yell over the crowd. "I'm sorry." She says. She turns around and gets on the plane. From where I stood I look put the window and see her plane take off. I take pictures with a few fans and get a ticket for Canada.

I get on the flight and when I arrive more fans ask me for pictures. After that I get in a taxi and go back to the hospital. I get there and see Aaliyah. She comes up to me. "How did it go?" She asked. I shake my head and look at the floor. She gives me a sympathy hug. "Shawn you have to go to California." She said. "I can't I've been from New York to Canada to New York back here in one day. I can't spend that much money." I say. "Shawn you have alot of money one more trip won't hurt." She said. I think. "I don't know Aaliyah." I said. "Shawn do you love her? Like really really love her?" She asked. "Of course she's the lo e of life." I said. "Then don't loose that. You have to win her back. I know you're the love of her life to. She just doesn't know it yet." She said. "Aaliyah I can't do that." I said. "Shawn you're already doing that. You can't stop until you get her." She said. I nodded. "One last shot." I said. I run out of the hospital and go to the airport. I get the next flight to California.

I arrive and I go looking for Madison. I go to the nearest beach since she loves it there. I see a girl sitting in the sand wearing the same clothes as Madison was. "Madison?" I ask. She turns around and gets up. "Shawn?" She says. I put a smile on my face when I see her face. "Why are you here?" She asks. "Madison I'm in love with you. You are the love of my life. I can't let you go." I say.

Madison's pov: I land in California and I go straight to the beach. I take a seat in the sand. After a while I hear my name. I turn around and see Shawn. "Shawn?" I ask. He smiles. "Why are you here?" I ask. "Madison I'm in love with you. You are the light of my day. You're the first thought in my head in the morning. You're the last one in the night. Madison you're the love of my life." He said. I stood quiet unsure of what to say. "I don't want a reply I just had to let you know that." He said. "Shawn you can't say stuff like that to me. We aren't dating anymore." I said. "I know that Madison. I don't need to date you to tell you that." He said. "Shawn stop chasing me cause you've caught me once then you lost me. Trust me I'm not going to let you catch me again." I said. "I told you before and I'm going to tell you again. I will not quit until you're my girlfriend again." He said. "SHAWN I WILL NEVER BE YOU'RE GIRLFRIEND." I yelled. He came closer to me and took my hand. "Madison I've been working hard to make sure that mistake will never happen again and now I know for a fact ot won't. Please give me one more chance?" He asks. I look at our hands. They're a perfect fit. I look up at him he's perfect. We are perfect for eachother. I still love him. But there's only one reason we can't be together. He broke my trust .and that's very hard for him to fix. "Shawn I still love you to." I said. He smiles. "Shawn I can't trust you though you broke my heart." I said holding back tears and pulling my hand out of his. "I understand but I'm not going to give up." He said. "Shawn." I said. "Just come back to New York please? I don't want to loose you again." "I don't know." I said. "Don't let me ruin your college experience." He said. "You're not ruining anything Shawn." I said. "Can we at least be friends?" He asked. "Sure." I said. "So you'll come back now?" He asked. I nodded. We walked to a taxi and went to the airport.

*Back in New York*

I walk back to my dorm with my luggage. I open the door and the girls turn and they come up and give me a hug. "Madison I'm so glad you're back. I was hoping you weren't going to leave." Said Ariana. "Well I got to LA and Shawn convinced me to come back." I said. "Ooh Shawn. Are you guys a couple?" Asked. Camila. "No. We're just friends." I said. "Oh so he's free?" We turned around and saw Harley. Harley is the college slut. She goes after every guy. She's kinda nice. To certain people. Guys mostly. She has blonde hair and green eyes. She is the same height as me. I'm a little shorter than Shawn. She has cheated on every one of her boyfriends. "Hey Harley." I said. "So Shawn's free?" She asked ignoring me. "Why do you care?" Asked Camila in a rude way. "Because I like him." She said. "Shawn doesn't like you." Said Ashley. "SHUT UP ASHLEY! He will soon. He's free though right?" She asked. "Shawn will never want to go out with you he likes Mads." Said Ariana. "Yes he's free." I said. "Great." She said with a smile and left. "Why did you tell her?" Asked Camila. "Because Shawn is free." I said. "But don't you like him?" Asked Ashley. "Yes of course I do but we can't be together. I can't trust him anymore. Besides he has to stop chasing me." I said. "Won't it hurt seeing him with someone else?" Asked Camila. "Of course it will. It hurts me just thinking about it but we both have to move on." I said.

Shawn's pov: I walked to the snack shop with the guys. We ordered our snacks. After that we went to the park. I heard my name and I turned around and saw Harley. "Hey Harley what's up?" I asked. "Can we talk?" She asked. "Yeah sure." I said. She grabbed my hand and pulled me to a bench. I looked back at the guys and they were making kissing faces. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked. "Oh Shawn. I heard you were single." She said brushing her hands through my hair. "Yeah I am." I said. "So Shawn how's stuff going with your ex?" She asked moving onto my lap. I didn't want to be rude and tell her to get up. "It's good. We're friends." I said. "Do you still have feelings for her?" She asked. "Yeah I do. We'll be together again one day." I said. She wraps her arms around my neck. I laugh nervously. "Oh Shawn you shouldn't have even be with her. Remember the night we had? We are meant to be not her." She said. "Harley I was drunk and that night ruined my life." I said. "Shawn don't say that it was about us. You know you wanted to do that." She said. "No I didn't that ruined my relationship with Madison." I said. "Shawn she doesn't want you. You should be with me." She said. "Why?" I asked. "Because if not I'll tell her that it was me you cheated on her with and tell her you weren't drunk. And that you came on to me." She said. "She won't believe you. I'll tell her you're lieing." I said. "Shawn she doesn't trust you. She'll believe me and not you."And then you guys won't be friends anymore. She'll hate you." She said. "Are you blackmailing me?" I asked. "I guess I am babe." She said getting up. "Pick me up at 8." She said giving me a kiss on my cheeck and walked off.
