College Part 2

I get up and go to my car. I drive to Cameron's house. When I get there I knock on his door and he opens it letting me in. "What's wrong?" He asks looking at the tears coming down my face as he closed the door. "We broke up." I said. He wraps me in a hug and we pull apart. "Why?" He asks. "He cheated on me." I said. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asks. "No I just wanted to hang out with someone. I don't want to talk about or even see him." I said. He nodded his head. Just then there was another knock on the door. Cameron answered the and saw Shawn. He closed the door in his face. "He's here." He said. "Let him in." I said. Cameron nodded and opened the door Shawn walked in and as soon as he did I walked passed him and walked out. Cameron closed the door behind me.

Shawn's pov: I drove to Cameron's house. I knock on the door he opens it then slams it on my face. Then he opens it again and let's me in. I see Madison but she ignores me and she walks right passed me out the door. Her eyes were red and puffy. It kills me to see her this sad but I guess it's my fault.

🌒 A few months later 🌒

I get a phone call and I go downstairs to answer it. "Hello" I say into the phone. "Hello is this Madison Hills?" They ask. "Yes." I say. "Ok so we heard about the situation you were in and we'd like to give you an scholarship to our college if you accept." They said. "Yes of course I do what college is this?" I ask. "This is NYU." They say. "Ok when do I start?" I ask. "You start tomorrow so start packing and head over here." They say. We talk for a while more and after that I run up to my room and pack all my stuff. After a few hours I'm finally done. I drive to my family's house and tell them the news and give them hugs. I get a taxi to the airport and buy a ticket to the next flight to New York. I left my car at my family's house so it won't get towed at the airport.

They call my flight and I get on the plane and we head off.

I arrive in New York and I head to NYU. When I get there I see a bunch of people but one seems familiar. She turns around and it's Ariana. She sees me and we run up to eachother. "Ari I missed you." I said. "I missed you to." She said. There's two other girls with her and she introduces me to them. "This is Camila and this is Ashley." She said. "Girls this is my best friend Madison." She said I shook their hands. "You're so pretty." They said. "Thank you. You guys are to." I say and they smile. They are really easy to talk to. I get my dorm key and I enroll in my classes. I buy the books and then I go to my dorm. It's a coincidence that we all have the same room. We walk in and they all take their beds. They left me the biggest bed. I put my stuff down and then the girls help me unpack. When we finish Camila and I go down to the coffee shop. We order our coffee and wait.

The door opens to the shop and the bell on the door rings. I look over and see Shawn walk in with Matt one of his highschool friends. "Oh my gosh that's Shawn and Cameron." She said. "I know." I said. "How do you know the two hottest guys at school?" She asks. "I went to highschool with them." I said. "Really?" She asked. I nodded. She saw the hurt in me whenever I glanced at Shawn. "What happened between you guys?" She asked. "Oh uh nothing. Shawn and Cameron sit down at a table. They call my name because she didn't want her name on the cups. Cameron heard my name and looked up. Cameron saw me and came over to me when we were walking out. "Hey Mads." He said. "Hey." I said giving him a hug. "I didn't know you came here." He said. "Oh I just started today." I said. "When did you start coming here?" I asked. "Oh a few days after you came to my house crying." He said. I looked at Camila and she looked confused. After a while of talking Shawn came. "Hey Madison." He said. "I got to go." I said in a hurt voice not realizing it. I turned around and walked out with Camila following. Shawn came out. "Madison wait." He said. I stopped walking and turned around. "Madison I'm still so sorry." He said. "And I will never let you go until the day I die. I will not give up on us. Even if it's the last thing I do because I love you." He said. "Shawn I'm finally at the point of almost not hurting anymore. I stopped crying. I love you to but we can't be together. It's hard for me to trust you." I said. "Madison what I did that night was a mistake you know that." He said. "Shawn the only mistake was me trusting you." I said. "Madison come on." He said. I turned around and walked back to the dorm. "What was that about?" Asked Camila. "We used to date." I said. "What happened?" She asked. "He cheated." I said. A tear fell down my cheek and I walked into the dorm. Seeing him moved me back a step of getting over him. It made it worse with what he said. I gave Ariana and Ashley their coffee. "We have a party to go to do you wanna come?" Asked Ariana. "I don't know." I said. "Come on maybe you can meet some new people. Maybe guys and you can get over Shawn." She said. I nodded my head. "You're right." I said. "I'll go then." I grabbed a party outfit and got dressed. We went to the party.

When we got there it was full of people. "Madison this is how you're parties were." She said. "I know." I said with a smile. It was at a club. I went to the bar and took a seat on the stool. A guy sat down next to me. "Hi I'm Jason." He said extending my hand. "I'm Madison." I said shaking it. "A margarita" He told the bartender. Then he looked at me. "Make that two." He said. The bartender came back with the drinks and handed it to Jason. Jason handed me one. "So what's your boyfriends name?" He asked. "I don't have a boyfriend I'm single." I said. "How can a beautiful girl like you be single?" He asked. I blushed. "I don't know." I said. "What's your girlfriends name?" I asked. "Her names Becca but I'm willing to forget about her for you." He said placing his hands on my thighs moving them up. I grabbed the margarita and threw it in his face and stood up. "What the hell was that for?" He says getting up fasted rubbing his eyes. "Because I've been cheated on and trust me it can leave you broken hearted and it'll be hard to ever love again. I've tried. You and all other cheaters are jerks. I hate every single one of you" I said. I turned around and saw Shawn standing right in front of me. I looked at him. "Madison..." He said. I looked at him then walked passed him in tears. I walked out of the club. I ran back to the dorm and I went on my bed. I still had all of the pictures of me and Shawn when we were together in my suitcase. I got those and started looking through them. Tears fell from my eyes onto the pictures. I heard a knock at the door and I quickly put the pictures under my pillow. I opened it seeing Cameron. I wiped my tears. "Hey Cam." I said. I let him in. "Hey Mads. Are you ok? I saw what happened at the club." He said. "I don't know." I said. I sat on my bed and Cameron sat next to me. He put his arm around me and rubbed my back as I leaned on him. I looked at him in his eyes and he leaned in and kissed me. I pushed him off. "Cameron what are you doing?" I ask getting up. "I just thought we-" He said but I cut him off. "Cameron I- I can't I'm not ready for a relationship." I said. "I'm sorry." I said. He looked at the floor. "No I- I understand." He said. He got up and left. I sat back down and pull the pictures out. I look at them and tears rolling down my cheeks. I put the pictures away and lay on my bed. I drift asleep.
