"No! I'm just trying to get on the bus!" Max screamed as the cops pulled him away.
"Well at least you'll be famous!" The female cops told him.
"Huh?"
"The first ten year old to kill a guy." The cop said.
"I KILLED HIM?!?" Max screamed.
Thoughts ran through his head that scared him.
"Haha! No. He'll be fine. Geesh, take a joke." The cop laughed.
Max growled and got in the cop car.
"We'll take you to the orphanage and get you set up." The cop said.
"Well officer... Plait. You are a nice person." Max said sarcastically.
"Shut up!" Another cop yelled.
"Dennis! Be nice to the boy!" Officer Plait said firmly.
"He almost killed a guy! I'll be as mean as I want!" Dennis snapped back.
"Well you can't blame him! He has no parents!" Plait yelled.
"I am right here!" Max yelled to the front.
"Sorry Max. How did you lose your parents?" Plait asked.
"It's a long and dark road there Plait...." Max folded his arms over his chest.
"Cmon Max..." Plait begged.
"Officer! He doesn't want to tell you!" Dennis snapped at her.
"No. You have the right to know..." Max slumped in his seat.
"It started on my third birthday..." Max started.
