I'm coming home Davey... Won't need to worry about Max anymore... The text read.
"Who's it from?" Nikki asked.
"Daniel..." Max said sincerely.
"What do you think he means by not worrying about Max?" Neil asked his friends.
"I think... I think he's gonna kill me!" Max with shallow breaths.
"We gotta tell someone!" Neil started to run towards the exit before getting stopped.
"David!" Max screamed.
"What are you kids doing with my phone?" David asked angrily.
Max stammered for a few minutes before David shushed him.
"I'm sorry you had to find out this way Max..." David said, taking back his phone.
"HOW ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO FIND OUT DAVID?!? Let him kill me?!?" Max yelled.
"Max... Calm down." Nikki put her hand on Max's shoulder.
Max looked at her then turned back and sighed.
"What do we do?" Max asked David.
"I don't know yet..." David seemed ashamed that he couldn't protect Max.
"Well we gotta do something! This message was sent two hours ago and it doesn't take long to drive here!" Neil yelled.
Nikki grabbed Max's arm and held for dear life.
"I don't wanna die!" She screamed.
"He's after me Nikki." Max said as he pushed her away.
"Daaavvveeeyyy!!! I'm baack!"
