The Sight of You

Another poem for the past beloved. He just loved writing before, I wonder if until now too. A very old one, this poem.

One of my very amateur poems, where I still made sure every line rhymes. But am still uncertain whether it pours out the emotion I want to bring out.

Cold air blowing in
Enduring the feeling within
The sight of you it seems so weird
And so soon you are what I need

I hate our sudden moments
Because in my heart they went
When our hands almost touched
Loved every second but hesitated

My longing for you hurts
like deja vu, it was not the first
So love, that time when I saw you
Rumored thorns in my heart came true
