Surely it will end
But there would be company
And that's a friend
Life is a gift
Life brings tears
Smiles
And memories
The tears dry
The smiles fade
But the memories?
They'll last
Its sad
When the people
Who gave you the best memories
Suddenly became a memory
So live our lives
And create moments
And know the value
When they become memories
