I wake up naked in the middle of the burnt down forest. I sit up and look around.

How can this be? I remember dying, the pain...

My mother.

She did think of this after all. I let out a sigh of annoyance, the woman will not let me die, she won't let me live.

I stand up and look around. The entire forest is black with charred wood and dead plants. Skeletons of the animals that once live here are scattered around the woods.

I frantically look around for my horse, but she is nowhere to be found. I finally start to feel the weight of the world on my shoulders as I come to the realization that is entirely alone. Not even my horse here with me anymore.

I let a few stray tears fall down my cheek because I need to grieve for the family that abandoned me and now for my horse. After a few minutes, I wipe away my tears and head in some random direction.

This is going to be a long time in eternity.

.............

Prison world 1994

Centuries have passed and the world has become a lot more fun. More thing to do.

Right now I am on my way to someplace in Oregon, I'm not sure why. I just feel drawn to it.

I am driving a car, I learned how to drive than nearly a century ago, but they have changed too much since then. I do not really like driving, to be honest.

I arrive in Oregon in a few hours and drive up to a house that is big. Why am I drawn here? What is so special about this place?

I get out of the car and up to the house. I do not bother with knocking since I am the only person in this entire world. I open the door and I notice blood stains on the floor. As I'm looking around at the house, I hear footsteps.

My heart starts racing. Is it my mother finally coming to kill me? Or maybe my father? My siblings, do they still hold a grudge against me?

Then I realize that it has been a thousand years that I have been in this prison world, they are probably dead. The thought saddens me a little.

If it wasn't my family that I heard, then who was it? I stay quiet for a few more minutes, not daring to breathe.

Nothing.

Maybe I'm just imagining things. Isolation will make a person mad. I let out my breath and I turn around to head back outside. As I turn around a boy is standing there staring at me.

I nearly jumped ten feet off of the floor. I do not speak to him, thinking that it is just another one of my hallucinations. I instead walk past him, but he grabs my arm. That's odd, none of my hallucinations have even done that.

I look at his hand that is grabbing my arm and then look up at him. "You're real?" I whisper.

He gives me a questioning look and nods his head. "Why wouldn't I be real?" I hear him say. How is this possible? Another human being in the same prison world as me.

"I-I thought that you were another one of my hallucinations," I reply honestly.

He doesn't seem to believe me as he changes the subject, "What is your name?"

The boy stared at me waiting for an answer to his question. I don't know how to respond, I haven't had a conversation with a person in a century.

"I'm, um..." I trailed off if I wanted to change my name now would be the time to do it, "Angelyn." I told him honestly, deciding on a fake name.

He continued to stare at me and it was making me uncomfortable, "You have an accent." He stated. I completely forgot about my family originally being from London. I nodded my head.

"What time period are you from?" He asks. I hesitated about telling him, I didn't want to ruin his hopes of getting out of here. "Answer." He said he was starting to get mad.

"I'm not really sure." I said as I look up at him and he glared at me, "Honestly, we didn't really keep track of time back then."

"So how are you in a 1994 prison world?" He asked clearly not believing me.

"My mother. This is her idea of me still getting to see the world." I said with a bit of hatred in my voice.

"Liar!" He shouted, "You're a vampire or something." As he said that he grabbed my arm and I felt pain shoot through my arm, but I refused to show weakness. "I knew it, you're not human."

I chuckled a bit, "I never said that I was human." He gave me a look that said what are you then. "I'm a witch," I said and I watched a smirk grew on his face.

I realize that I still don't know his name. "What's your name?"

"Oh manners, sorry I'm Kai." He stuck out his hand for me a shake, which I took.
