When I woke up I felt empty. There was nothing inside of me anymore. It was like I was already dead, but I was still breathing.

Kai woke up beside me and let out an angry yell. "No!" I heard the panic in his voice. The fear of being stuck here forever.

I stood up and offered him my hand and without a word we walked into our house. I pulled out my mother spell book and Kai pulled out all of his family's books.

We searched for a spell that would set us free. But I knew there was no hope. We were a lost cause at this point. We mine as well accept that we are never leaving and try to live out our eternal lives in this world where we can never die.

My eyes scan over a spell that caught my eyes. I had to read it a few times just to make sure that I had read it right.

There was a spell to get out. The only downside was we needed Bennett blood for the spell. "Kai!" I called out. Kai walked into Jo's room, where I was at, "I found the spell."

Kai's entire face lit up with hope as I showed him the spell. "This is great. We can go home."

"Yeah, but we don't have all of the ingredients," I stated and pointed in the book where it says we need blood.

I heard Kai let out a sigh, "I'm sure we can find some around here." He said trying his best to stay positive.

"Maybe you're right," I said not believing it.

...........

We spent the next few months looking in every house, in the nearby city. We found nothing.

Why would my mother or Kai's father leave us the key to getting out?

I was stupid to even believe that it would be here. I let out a frustrated yell as I exit another house.

I meet back up with Kai at our house and tell him that I hadn't found anything. I see the determination in his eyes. He is not ready to give up.

"We'll find it. It has to be here." Kai tells me but he sounds like he is trying to reassure himself.

I nod my head and walk into our house. I grab my mother's grimoire and turn to the spell I found a few days ago. I finally found a spell to contact the real world.

I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from Kai's desk and wrote a note.

Niklaus,

I don't know if you will receive this, or I don't know if you remember me. But please help me.

My name is Angelyn Mikealson. I am your twin sister. Mother sent me away to another world. A prison world. Please, I hope you haven't forgotten me. I need you and the others.

I hope you are still alive. I hope that Kai was right about you being a vampire.

If you get this, I, we, need Bennett blood to escape this prison. I know you probably hate me, but do this for me this one time and I'm never bothering you again.

Tell the others, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, and Finn that I am alive.

-love Angelyn

I told up the paper and hold it in my palm. I hear Kai enter the room and I open my eyes.

"What are you doing?" He asks as he sees the paper and the grimoire in my lap.

"I found a way to contact the real world," I explain to him. "Hopefully," I add. I chant the spell and the piece of paper bursts into flames as it disappears. "That note was, hopefully, sent to Klaus. I asked him if he could send us some Bennett blood."

I see him smile, "Do you think that it worked?"

I shrug, "Maybe, I guess we'll just have to wait to see if we get a response."
