When I had finally woke up I was tied to a chair in front of a fireplace beside Kai who is also tied up.

"You're awake. Good. Now for the Q&A portion of the evening." I see Damon who is standing in front of us. I look over and see that Kai has also woken up.

Damon is holding a bag of pork rinds in one hand and a poker in the other. "Let me guess. I answer right, I get a pork rind. Wrong, I get a poker." Kai asks him.

"What? No, no, no. These are for me. You just get the poker." Damon explains to him. He turns to look at me, "Why are you with him?" I smirk at him but I don't answer.

"Yeah. You don't have to do that." Kai tells him. "We're on the same team."

"Really? Do you always try and kill your teammates?" Bonnie asks. I didn't even see her in the room.

"The important thing is that you have your magic back. It worked." I told them. Damon and Bonnie look at each other.

"What, you... you didn't really think we'd kill Damon, did you? Heh heh. In what universe does that make sense? Who would kill 1/4 of our population? We're not monsters. We knew Bonnie would show up. She always comes back, all 13 times, and we knew with the right motivation she'd be able to access her magic, although I-I did get a little worried with all your bickering that Damon's life wouldn't be enough motivation," Kai explained to them, and Damon and Bonnie look on unamused. "but turns out it was. I guess that's just how you two show your love."

"So you did all that just to make sure I would have my magic?" Bonnie asks.

"Of course we did. Because your magic is the key to getting the hell out of here." I tell her. Damon and Bonnie look on, clearly affected by the revelation.

...........

"And, of course, I broke into the Oval Office and took a picture of myself and Angelyn at the window, looking all JFK. But then, I was, like, 'Wait-- How am I going to get these photos developed?'" I heard Kai in the middle of a story. I remembered that day.

"Oh my god, just answer the damn question. How are we going to get out of this Twilight Zone?" Damon interrupts, he is sitting across from us on a dark couch.

"I got a question for you, first. Why do you think we're stuck on a repeating loop of May 10, 1994?" I asked the vampire causing both of their heads to look at me. Damon raises his eyebrows as if to say he doesn't know. "Doomed to relive a solar eclipse forever and ever, and ever," I add.

He takes a sip of his bourbon, "How the hell should I know?" I saw Kai look over at me and smile.

"Well, I heard you tell Bonnie this place was your own personal hell. I'm kinda curious why." Kai adds to the conversation.

Just then Bonnie walks into the room, "Found everything you asked for: can-opener, shower drain, grinding wheel, jam, pocket knife, volume 'O' of the encyclopedia, a nail and a black marker." She walks over to the table in front of the couch where Damon sits and dumps the bag full of materials onto it. Damon rises to his feet. "Now what?" She asks Kai.

"Can't show you with my hands taped." He looks over at me, "In fact, I don't even know the spell." Bonnie gave him a look at said she could kill him. "Angelyn does, and she can't help if she's tied up."

Bonnie reaches over, grabs the pocket knife and walks over to Kai. "Bonnie..." Damon warns.

"Thank you," Kai says once Bonnie cuts off the tape binding his wrists.

"Relax, he won't do anything because we aren't going to let his girlfriend out," Bonnie tells Damon. I look up at Kai and mouths that we got this.
