FORGETTING YOU
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
❝EVEN THOUGH I TRY TO LEAVE I AM TIED BY OUR MEMORIES EVEN THOUGH WE AREN'T IN THE SAME PLACE ANYMORE.❞♔ ♔ ♔
Rosé squealed as she caught sight of a familiar face. She ran towards the woman with open arms before she nearly tackled her in a tightening hug. "Scarlett!"
"Little Rose!" the actress laughed as she hugged the intern back just as warmly. She pulled away and held Rosé by her shoulders as she took the sight of the young adult in. A swell of warmth grew in her chest as she stared at Rosé and the mature woman she has become. She has always been beautiful, Scarlett always claimed that Rosé will flourish into her beauty even more than she already has. And the proof in front of her was enough.
"God, you're fucking gorgeous," gawked Scarlett as she smiled in awe. She brushed away the dyed hair away from Rosé's face, "It's so good to see you again! How have you been, honey?"
She shrugged her shoulders as she shyly smiled at the actress. Scarlett has always been an aunt figure to her, no matter what. Even when she was a pre teen with braces, acne scars, and stringy hair, Scarlett always told her that she was beautiful.
"I've been good. College is kicking my ass, Noah still wants me to make a band with him, and still single," she answered plainly. Scarlett winced at the last part, "Things didn't work out with Charles?"
"Nope."
"What about Aaron?"
"Total cunt."
"Okay, but how about Marcos?"
"He wasn't too bad, but he's gay."
"Oh, okay."
Chris whistled at the long list of badly ended relationships as he walked over to the two. He handed Scarlett a cup of coffee before he took a drink out of his own. "And here I thought you'd keep your promise of not dating anyone?"
Rosé furrowed her eyebrows in confusion at his teasing words and the snickers that left Scarlett's lips, to which the actress tried to quickly hide it by drinking her lukewarm coffee. Chris didn't even try to hide the overly large smile on his face. "Wait, why? What's going on?"
Chris shrugged his shoulders as he popped open the cap over his cup. He tried to act disinterested, but he couldn't help but want to see the embarrassed reaction out of the intern. "Oh, nothing. It's just that Robert always told me that no man would ever match up to me. But hey, it seems like there were a few — "
She ignored his words as her cheeks flushed with heat and burned with embarrassment. She looked down and ran past the two as she screamed, "ROBERT DOWNEY JR YOU BETTER FUCKING HIDE YOU SACK OF IRON SHIT."
