TOMORROW, TODAY
CHAPTER TEN
❝SOMEBODY LET ME KNOW, TELL ME WHICH WAY TO GO, 'CAUSE I DON'T, DON'T, DON'T KNOW.❞♔ ♔ ♔
Rosé couldn't bring herself to enjoy Atlanta as much as she'd like. She's been to America before, mainly for trips like this where she'd accompany her mother for filming. But she never got to do the tourist things like sightseeing or eating local mom-and-pop restaurants.
She sat in the staff trailer in her mom's seat with her laptop on one side and her tablet on the other. Her mother told her that she was done for the day and she was free to do whatever. Rosé, being the dedicated artist she is, decided to work on Falling Dimensions.
"I heard Roseanne Cha is in here," a familiar voice spoke up. She turned around to see none other than Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan at the door. The two charming men smiled at the rest of the staff as they entered the large trailer.
"Uncle Chris," Rosé greeted. She quickly saved her artwork on her tablet and turned it off before she stood up from her seat.
Chris groaned at the word placed before his name before he hugged the girl. "God, you sure know how to make a man feel old, Roseanne."
"You're the one who told me to call you that," Rosé reminded in a teasing tone as she stuck her hand out to shake Sebastian's hand. "Hi, nice to meet you, big fan of your work."
Sebastian blinked at how surprisingly mature she is. He's heard countless stories from btoh Annie Shin and Robert, the two would dote on them and gush about their energy and talents. But no matter how positive her words may seem he couldn't ignore the tired look in her eyes or the forced smile on her face, something almost unheard of when it came to the Cha siblings.
Still, he was in no position to ask as he had just met her. Instead Sebastian shook her hand and smiled, "Likewise. Roseanne, right?"
Rosé winced at the mention of her full name and shook her head. "Yes, but these days I go by Rosé instead."
Chris chuckled, "Bit of a pompous name don't you think?"
She pouted as she jokingly crossed her arms across her chest. "Well I think it's a bold name for someone as unique as I am, don't you think Uncle Chris?"
The actor placed his hands up in surrender before he ruffled her hair with his hand. "It's been awhile kid, but I don't think you've gotten any taller. Told you that early growth spurt won't do much in the end, Rose."
Rosé huffed out a breath as he emphasized her nickname without the accented e. If it was anyone else she would've drop kicked them for calling her by such a boring nickname. He's lucky he's Chris Evans. Then again, she's had a crush on him since she was fourteen.
