"Fuck!" I whispered, covering my mouth with my hands. My body went stiff as I stared at Aggie who had landed on the floor. My body wasn't exactly connecting with my brain and due to the lack of communication between them both, I did something my anger laid upon me, and that something was to punch Aggie Stemble, the most popular girl in Openhay Collage, my Boyfriends ex-girlfriend, in the face.
Flora released herself from Milly's grip and walked over to Aggie was was now attempting to get up. Before I was ready to dash and escape all of the chaos I have just caused, I looked over at Aggie's face. Have I caused any noticeable damage? The answer to that is, no. Obviously my punch wasn't exactly a punch, more of a harsh slap with my knuckles, she may have a sore red mark but that's it.
"You... you've broken me!" Aggie broke down into Flora's arms and sobbed. A little part of me did feel a bit of sorrow for the girl but the other part was internally high-fiving. Once again, the stupid over reacting.
"I'm sorry." I looked down at her as her face grew a bright red, off tomato colour. She brought her legs in so she was no longer sat on the bare ground but on her feet.
Milly came up behind me and pulled my arm. "Let's get out of here." She whispered signally over to the barista who was shaking her head in anger at the four of us. No doubt the police have been called.
As we approached the exit of the cafe, as I expected a policeman blocked our escape. Well, this isn't going to go down well. I frowned as I looked up at the police officer's familiar face.
PC Lowe. But this time, his side kick's are nowhere to be seen.
"Miss Watson," He opened his mouth and scratched his eyebrow.
"That's the girl causing all the chaos." The girl working behind the cafe had now bought her boss out and they where both giving Milly and myself stern looks.
This has probably been the worst twenty four hours of my life.
"I see," PC Lowe nodded his head and looked down at me. Oh common.
"I'm sorry, my friend and I were being targeted by those two girls, we had no choice but to defend ourselves," Milly stepped in front of me and spoke up, rising her head, ready to take the blame. "This is no fault of Georgia's."
One of the barista's stepped in. "She's the one who threw the punch!" She pointed to me with her long finger which was so close to my face. In an obvious manner, I moved away from her.
"You say you were being targeted?" PC Lowe turned to me in question.
"That's correct."
"By those two girls?" He pointed over to Aggie and Flora who were sat on one of the small tables. Aggie held her jaw on her hand and pretended to wince in pain.
"Yes." Milly said. Sounding as sure as possible.
"You say there was physical harm involved?"
I fidded with the now stretched sleeves of Miles hoodie and pulled them over my hands. I really can't be bothered to deal with this drama right now. "No."
"I see." He said, not showing much expression.
"I need to get going, you understand." I said quieter, so only PC Lowe could hear me. "I need to be home with my family, if everything is done, I would like to go home now please." Maybe, just maybe he will shine through the brick wall he puts up. Were all human here, we all make stupid mistakes. Yes, maybe I shouldn't have punched Aggie but I couldn't help it. There was an accident waiting to happen.
