I've always hated the library.I hate the fact that you are forced to sit in silence. I understand that it is a learning environment but seriously? Even if you ask a educational kind of question you still get asked to shut up.
"So then you take the two numbers at the end and add them to the original number. Plus the two number's in the question then you can easily calculate the percentage. See, it's easy." Tiff finished taking a large gulp of her capri sun.
My eyes have dried up from staring at the wall for so long. How am I supposed to concentrate on Maths when the only hard equation I can think about is Miles.
"Georgia?" Tiff said waving a hand in front of my face.
"Sorry, you were saying." I blinked a few times and looked back down at the text book trying to find what we were looking at.
Tiff cleared her throat then wacked my nose lightly with her pen. "What are you thinking about?" She said leaning in.
"Oh nothing."
She can see straight through me. "Georgia, tell me."
"I have a lot on my mind."
"Is it something to do with a certain male?" She played, a small grin growing on her face.
"Maybe."
"Do you want to be with him?" She asked.
Good question. I really had to think about this one. Do I want to be with Miles Webb? I just really don't see how he likes me. He loves pretty girls. Never mind that. He loves having sex, with pretty girls and that is something I can't supply.
"I don't know. I don't know what I want." I said honestly. I am stuck in no man's land.
"Find out on Saturday."
I looked at her confused. "Why Saturday?"
"Because Cameron is having that mini party with just us." She said scribbling something down in her math's book.
"Don't you find it odd how suddenly they want to be friends with us? I mean it is a bit random. Once Aggie and Flora come back they will probably just ditch us and never talk to us again."
"I dunno, from what they were saying at lunch they are tired of those girls, I mean I would be." She laughed.
"But, it all seems too perfect."
"Don't put yourself down like that. You always do it. You think you are this ugly little lump who has nothing going for herself but you are gorgeous. Do you remember what I said to you when we first met?" She said.
I was quite taken back from what she just said. Tiff is such a kind person, she always want's to remind you why you are worth something.
I smiled at her then laughed. "You said, 'not in a lesbo way but your really pretty'."
"Exactly!" She said. "And I meant it. Georgia you have so much going for you, no wonder the hottest guy in school wants to make out with you."
I leant in and gave her a long deserved hug. This girl is amazing. This is what the definition of best friend is.
"Thank you Tiff."
"That's ok. Now let's nail this test."
"Before that, I just wanted to discuss the whole coming clean to the head teacher business." I sighed.
"I think it's best that we just drop it, they will never find out it was us, plus, I actually want a future."
"Okay good, I'm glad we agree." I said.
