Pulling my suitcase down to the end of the road I froze. Where am I going to go? I can't go to Tiff and the same goes to Mia, Ferne and Anna. Mum is right in some ways, I can't get anyone else involved in this mess.
I would get a hotel room but no way does my current sum of money cover anything like that. Maybe I could text Mum and ask her to put money in my bank account but technically that counts as close communication which I am trying to avoid right now.
I stopped as my phone pinged with a text. I would have thought it was Mum, begging me to return home to make amends but instead it was from the complete opposite person.
Where have you gone? I saw you leave your house with a suitcase? - M
I looked down at my phone questioning myself on what to do. I have zero answers right now.
"Georgia!" I heard a low familiar voice shout from behind me. It makes me happy to think that he cares so much but then the other side of me is fuelled with guilt because I am hitting him with all of my problems.
I turned around from where I was stood and looked over to Miles who was now crossing the road to come over to me.
"Where are you going?" He said as he walked onto the pavement.
"I don't even know. All I know is that I need to get away from my family." I said shaking my head.
"That bad huh?" He said standing directly in front of me then crossing his arms causing his muscles to tighten.
"You could say that." I said. "I have no where to go." I did a sarcastic laugh and dragged my weak fingers through my hair.
"Yes you do, you're coming to stay at my house." Miles said looking around the street before focusing his attention on a boy who was outside throwing a ball through a basketball hoop. He did a brief wave then returned his attention to me.
I can't do that to him. That means bringing my mess into his house. Moving across the street won't count as getting distance from my parents.
"Miles I can't do that." I said shaking my head.
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because you have your own life. You don't want me being around and I need at least a month to get distance from my parents."
"Great, I will set you up in the spare room, my mother will be understanding. Your Mum told my Mum what was going on anyway." Miles said in a comforting tone.
Of course Mum would have told Layton. All of these constant weekly meet up's, they would have discussed every aspect of each other's lives with each other. Layton is the closest thing my mother has to a friend.
"I really don't know." I said unsure.
"Come on. It's only for a month, you won't be in the way and you need somewhere to stay." He said. Why is the guy so kind to me?
"Only if you are sure. I will clean up after myself, I will do the washing, anything you need I will provide alright?" I said. He took my suitcase and wheeled it for me. I feel a little ridiculous packing to go next door.
"Don't be stupid. You won't be in the way. My Mum loves you and I think you're alright." He grinned. I elbowed him in the ribs and he pretended to be injured by leaning over. He really knows how to cheer me up.
"Thank you. I can't even tell you how thankful I am for this."
"It's alright. Just make yourself at home." He said as we got to his drive way. He took my suitcase up for me and went through the front door. As he opened it the first thing I was met with was Angus sat on the bottom of the grand staircase with Kammie beside him.
