Currently, I am crying in the corner of my bedroom, with my door shut and the lights out. It is only three o'clock in the day. I feel like there is nothing left.
I glanced up on my cabinet where I stuffed all of my memories and possessions and saw a picture of Dad, Mum, Angus and Me, we all looked so happy. Dad has his arm draped over Mum's shoulder, Angus is holding Mum's hand and I am leaning against Dad. We were the fairytale family back then and that picture was only taken last year.
More tears poured out, just hoping that there is an explanation behind this. You could say I am in the middle stages of shock. My whole body feels weak and I can barely move a muscle.
I need to talk to someone. I can't talk to Angus, he will just cry and run away and I defriently can't talk to Dad for obvious reasons so I scrolled through my contact list on my phone and found a familiar name.
Milly.
Hesitantly, I clicked on her number and the calling screen came up. I held the phone to my ear and took a deep breath. Milly has known me since I was born and she knows everything about me and my family so it makes sense to tell her.
"Hello?" A voice came on the phone which I instantly recognised. I burst out crying just from her voice, something about it just reminds me of home.
I sobbed and sobbed down the phone.
"Georgia are you ok?" She sounded worried, I would be if my best friend called me up crying.
"No." I managed to mumble out.
"Tell me what's going on G?"
"I just... I just saw something that may change everything." More and more tears came tumbling out. I can't do this.
"Okay, take a deep breath. I am sure whatever it is, it will be ok I promise."
So then I just blurted it out. "Mum is having an affair." I said breathing rapidly. It is so horrible to say that out loud.
"Wait, what?" She said gasping. "Andrea isn't like that."
"Tell me about it, she is my Mum." I continued. "I mean the pregnancy and now this."
"Wait wait wait what the hell are you talking about. Pregnancy?" She gasped once again then let out a big breath of air. "Who's pregnant?"
"Mum is." I said.
"Your Mum is pregnant?" She shouted. I can sense her hand covering her mouth.
"Yes."
"And she is having an affair?"
"Yes."
"Who is the father?"
That question triggered every sense in my body and that was the biggest question right now. That is something I don't want to think about.
"No clue." I mumbled out once again.
"Right G, your going to have to confront your Mum. If there is one thing I know about Andrea that is that she is the best person on earth to talk to. I remember she was the only person I could go to when I started my period, I couldn't even approach my own mother. She has always been there for you. Just ask her, I mean this may all just be one huge mis understanding."
I didn't know what to say. This whole situation is just surreal.
"Georgia, how did you find out anyway?" Milly said, her voice sounding very soothing.
"I saw a guy called Clark texting her. He was calling her words like baby and asking if she is free next Friday, oh and then the worst thing, he sent a dick pic."
