CHAPTER 1 – From London to Philippines

Ako si Sabreena Venice Sy but they call me “Bree”.

I’m 16 years old.

I’m a typical Phil-Kor  teenager but my family and I live in London.

Only child before but now, I have an adopted little brother named Ivan. He was 3yrs. old  when my mom saw him at an orphanage here in London. Ivan’s very cute! *u*

When my parents adopted Ivan, they’ve decided na we will live in the Philippines na daw for good and sabi nila, may business na daw kami dun.

“We’ll be missing you Bree. ;(“ My friends said it in chorus

Hinatid nila ko sa airport. Mukha ngang fieldtrip eh -_-

“I’ll miss you to guys. ;(“ sabi ko sa kanila habang  nag-wewave ako sa kanila

Oras na ng flight namin. Bye bye London ;( Mamimiss kita! Huhu.

“Let’s go Princess.” – Dad

“Yes dad.” Sabi ko at nag-lakad na palayo

Ayokong tumingin sa likod ko kasi makikita ko pa ang mga friends ko na umiiyak dahil aalis na ko. Baka hindi pa ko maka-alis dahil sa kanila eh. =_=

After a long flight that took us I don’t care how many days, we finally arrived in the Philippines.

*Philippine Airport, March 20***

“Princess, we’re here.” Sabi ni Mommy while he was carrying Ivan

“Yes Mom. I know.” Sabi ko habang iniikot ko ang mata ko sa buong paligid.

It’s my first time here in the Philippines and wala akong ibang alam tungkol sa bansang to maliban sa language nila.

“Princess, didiretso na kayo ni Ivan sa bahay nyo. Kailangan naming dumiretso sa business meeting namin. Susunduin naman kayo dito ng family driver natin eh.” – Dad

Lagi namang ganyan. Lagi silang busy sa business! Busy sa work! -_-

“Okay dad. But, who’s in our house? Is there anyone that will take care of us there?”

“May mga maid na dun sa bahay. Both of you have your personal maids.” –Dad

“Okay but...”

Hindi pa ko tapos mag salita ng mag-interrupt si Mommy sa conversation namin ni Daddy.

“Hon, we have to go. We’ll be late.” - Mom

“Oh. Okay. Let’s go then.” – Dad

“Princess, here’s Ivan. Take good care of Him okay? We’ll try to see you later. Nandyan na si Mang Dante.” – Mom
