It was a beautiful Monday morning and for the first time in two months I had a day off.

After showering and eating breakfast, I decided to go to the beach. It was already 30 degrees, so I decided just to go in my swimwear, because the beach was two streets away.

I lived in a big villa park with a private beach so the beach shouldn't be very busy. Especially since it was a Monday morning and almost everyone works on Monday.

I grabbed my Harry Potter book, my phone and my headphones so I could listen to some music, a towel and sunscreen and I put everything in my bag.

I quickly put my blue bikini on and I checked one last time if I got everything. I grabbed my bag and walked out of my house.

The walk to the beach was quiet. The streets were completely abandoned. I put on my music (the new album from kesha)
And after five minutes I arrived at the beach.

Like I already predicted, there was almost no one on the beach. There was just one girl with blonde hair playing with a dangerous looking kite.

The kite was in the shape of a bird, but there was a sharp looking point at the front.

I laid my towel on the sand and I began reading my Harry Potter book. It was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, my favourite.

After a while I got bored of reading and I put my book away. I decided to get some extra sleep, because I didn't sleep well at all these last two months and a little bit of extra sleep never hurt nobody.

When I was almost asleep, I heard someone scream. "Look out!" Just as I was about to open my eyes, I felt a sting in my left eye.

I opened my eyes, but there was a red glow in my vision. I felt above my eye and I felt a sticky red substance. That must be blood.

I looked to my right, and next to me laid the dangerous looking kite. It must have hit me.

I tried to stand up, but I almost immediately fell down again. But before I fell in the sand again, I felt two strong arms catch me and they put me carefully down.

My head hurts like hell and my vision was blurry, but I saw someone sitting on my left. It was the blond girl, the owner of the kite. "I'm so sorry! I lost the control of my kite! Are you okay? I never meant to hit you with It! Let me help you! My house is nearby! I can bring you to my house and we can fix your eye."

I groaned and answered her. "No it's okay. You didn't mean to hit me. My head hurts like hell and I can't open my left eye. Do you mind helping me stand up?"

"I'm so so sorry! Please allow me to take care of your eye. You can also borrow some of my clothes because your bikini is covered in blood."

After she said this, she helped me stand up and I almost fell down again. "This isn't going to work. You almost can't walk. I will carry you to my house and after we cleaned your eye I will take you home."

She picked me up in her arms and started walking before I could protest. "I'm Y/N by the way." I said after a minute. " I'm Cara. Your name is beautiful. A beautiful name for a pretty lady like you."

"Well it's nice to meet you Cara. You're beautiful too even if I can't see you. I just wish we had met under different circumstances." I answered her.

I heard her chuckle and a few seconds later she put me on the ground.

"We're at my house. I will put you on a chair in the kitchen while I go grab the first aid kit. Just make yourself comfortable." She said.

She picked me up again after she opened the front door and she walked towards the kitchen. She put me down again and went out of the kitchen again.

After a few seconds she came back with a first aid kit. She grabbed a towel and put some disinfection stuff on it. "This can sting a little. Just tell me if it hurts to much."

Mid sentence she wiped the dried blood from my eye and she cleaned the cut. I hissed in pain and she looked at me with a guilty expression.

After half an hour she was done cleaning my cut. "Thank you, for helping me. I really appreciate it. Now I can see normal again and you are even more beautiful then I imagined." I winked at her and she blushed furiously. "No problem! After all, I was the one who gave you the cut. If you give me your number I can make it up to you. Maybe with a date to know each other better?"

Now it was my time to blush. I grabbed a napkin and a pen from the kitchen table and I wrote down my number.

"There you go. Make sure to call me!" "Of course! I would be a fool not calling someone as beautiful as you Y/N!" She winked at me.

"Now let me take you home. You probably have a massive headache and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you."

I nodded because I had indeed a massive headache. I gave her my address and we started walking.

After five minutes we arrived at my house. What a coincidence that we lived this close to each other!

"There we are. I advise you to take some Advil against the headache. Take some rest and I will call you! Are you free tomorrow? Maybe we can go for dinner?"

"That sounds perfect. Text me the details and I will be ready! I will see you tomorrow! Good night Cara!"

"Bye Y/N! See you tomorrow!" After she spoke, she leaned in and kissed my cheek. I blushed and waved at her. She grinned from ear to ear and waved back.

I watched her walking away and I thought by myself. She could hit me with ten kites if that meant that we would go out. Today was really a blessing in disguise.

I was already looking forward to tomorrow.
