The first time you saw her, was in a coffee shop.

You had just ordered an iced coffee and the last cinnamon roll and you were waiting for your order when you heard the person behind you ask for a cinnamon roll as well. You turned around, looking at the woman who had just been told that you had bought the last cinnamon roll.

You thought for a moment and started walking towards her, wanting to offer her half of your cinnamon roll. She was waiting at the counter for her order, and you tapped her on her shoulder, not wanting to startle her.

"I'm sorry miss, but I overheard you talking to the cashier about the cinnamon rolls, and since I just bought the last one, I wanted to offer you half of mine."

Her eyes were filled with surprise and it took her a while to find the right answer. "That's very kind of you! However, it's not necessary, I suppose I will survive without a cinnamon roll today. Thank you for the offer though! I really appreciate it."

"Nonsense, just take it. Here, I probably shouldn't eat a whole one anyway." You told her while shooting her a small smile and at the same time tearing your cinnamon bun in half, offering one half to the stranger in front of you.

"Thank you so much. How can I repay you? Can I pay you back for it? Just tell me how much and I'll pay!" The stranger told you, already trying to grab her wallet from her purse.

"It's alright, you don't have to pay me anything. Why don't you join me at my table? We could talk for a while and enjoy our cinnamon roll."

The stranger nodded and at the same moment the barista handed both of you your drinks. You grabbed your drink and started walking towards one of the free tables on the left of the small, but cosy, café.

The two of you sat down and it wasn't long before the stranger started to talk again.

"Oh no, where are my manners! My name is Cara." She extended her hand to you and you shook it while introducing yourself as well. "Nice to meet you Cara, I'm Y/N."

The two of you exchanged numbers that day, and kept in touch. You would go get coffee at least once a week and you would talk to each other almost every day. It wasn't long before you realised you had feelings for Cara, and to your surprise, Cara asked you out a month after the two of you had met for the first time.

From then on everything went quite fast. After a year of dating, the two of you moved in together. At first you moved into Cara's apartment, but after a month, the two of you decided to buy a new apartment, somewhere where the two of you could start fresh together.

Exactly three years after you met, Cara proposed. You said yes of course, since you were still madly in lover with her and didn't think you could love anyone as much as you loved Cara. A year later, the two of you got married in a small ceremony and it was the happiest day of your live.

Two years later and the two of you were still living together. Of course, you had the occasional fight with her busy schedule and live in the spotlight, but you always made up and you were still very happy together.

Today was your wedding anniversary and you had the whole day planned out. You just hoped Cara would be home soon. She recently wrote a book called Mirror, Mirror and she had a final meeting with her publisher this morning, before the book would be shipped out.

However, she promised you to be back on time and you believed her, so all that was left for you to do was wait. You still had four hours before you had to leave your apartment if you wanted to do everything you had planned, so there was still enough time left.

It was five o'clock and you had planned to leave at six, but Cara still wasn't home. you decided to just get ready yourself and see when she showed up. You knew that this book was important to her, but you really hoped that you were more important.

You did everything you could to distract yourself, but Cara still wasn't there and it was already five to six. You figured you were going to have to push back the reservation, so you called the restaurant and told them you were running late.

It was eight o'clock and Cara still wasn't home. By now you had given up on making your reservation, so you had cancelled everything you had planned and changed back into a sweater and sweatpants, leaving your dress on the bedroom floor, not in the mood to actually fold it and hang it back in the closet.

You were halfway the new episode of Game of Thrones, when you heard someone trying to open the front door. Given the fact that Cara was the only person with a key besides you, you figured she was finally home.

"Babe! I'm home! Where are you?" You decided not to respond and just kept on watching the tv. After a few minutes you heard footsteps walking towards you and you felt Cara sinking down on the couch next to you.

"Babe, I'm so sorry. We had to discuss more things about the book than expected and I just couldn't leave earlier. I know that today was our anniversary and that you had planned something and I'm so sorry to screw up your plans, but maybe if it's not too late, we could still go out and celebrate? Please Y/N, I'm so sorry, I didn't think this would happen. Please forgive me baby."

"It's too late, I already cancelled everything I had planned for the two of us. I hope you're happy and that it was worth it." With that being said, you stood up and walked out of the room, tears threatening to fall out of your eyes.

After laying in bed for fifteen minutes, you heard a soft knock on the door. A few seconds later you saw Cara's head pop out from behind the door. She came walking in dressed in sweatpants and a sweater and she was carrying a tray with all kinds of food on it. Fruit, chocolate and all other types of junk food.

"I know that I screwed up today and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. There are still a few hours left to celebrate our anniversary, so I brought you all your favourite types of food and I thought we could get comfortable in the bed, talk a bit and eat? I'm really sorry babe, you're a million times more important than anything else and I should've put you first." Cara looks down and you feel a little bit sad for her. You definitely appreciate that she brought all of this food, so you decided to just hug her.

"Of course, I forgive you babe. I know how important this book for you is and I don't want to get in the way of your dreams. We'll celebrate our anniversary next year again. I love you alright and I will never stop loving you. You'll never get rid of me." You told her and at the end you winked at her.

"And you'll never get rid of me. I love you so much Y/N, I hope you know."

You pulled Cara into a kiss, which quickly got heated and the fight and the food were soon forgotten.

Finally a new part! I'm sorry for the wait! I had exams this year so that took up most of my time and I had also a bit of a writers block. I hope you like it! Please vote and comment! It would mean a lot! Enjoy!
