You were driving back from your work to the house you and Cara shared. You had asked your boss is you could finish earlier than normal today, because Cara also only had to work in the morning, so if you could finish early, the two of you could spend the rest of the day together. Something that didn't happen for quite a while already, because of the busy schedules the both of you had.
You were a famous doctor. You had wanted to become a doctor since you were just a kid, because you always liked to help people, and after years of hard work, you got a well-paid job at the most famous hospital in England.
You really liked being a doctor, but sometimes the schedule you had was a bit to hectic. This was the first time in 4 months, you had finished before ten in the evening and since Cara was an actress and a writer and a model, her schedule was even more hectic than yours.
So you already didn't have a lot of time together, but when you were together, the two of you were really tired so you also really couldn't do anything, but today that was going to change! Maybe the two of you could go out for dinner or something, that would be nice.

When you got home, you called out for Cara. "Babe, I'm home! Where are you?" You didn't get a response which you found quite odd, so you frowned and walked to the living room. You didn't see Cara, so you decided to go to your bedroom, maybe she was just taking a nap or something?
When you were walking upstairs, you heard weird noises. It sounded like someone was crying? You just hoped that you were imagining things, and you continued walking to your bedroom, but you could hear the sounds just clearer and clearer.
"Babe, are you in here?" You asked while knocking on the door. You didn't get a response again, so you just opened the door and walked in. You looked around the room, and when you saw Cara, it felt as if your heart shattered in a million pieces.
There she was, curled up in a ball, laying on the bed, crying her heart out. You couldn't bear the sight of it, so you immediately rushed to her side and tried to comfort her, but she only cried harder when she saw you.
"Shhhh babe, it's okay, it's just me, you're okay. Shhh calm down, everything will be fine. What happened? Shh I love you and everything will be okay. Whatever it is, we can fix it. Just remember that you're not alone in this. Whatever troubles you, troubles me. Your problems are my problems."
The two of you sat on the bed for ten more minutes, you holding a crying Cara, and you felt so helpless because you couldn't do anything.
After ten minutes, Cara had finally calmed down and she was ready to speak to you. "Are you okay babe? Do you want to tell me what's going on? I hate seeing you like this and not being able to help you. You know I would do anything for you, right? And never forget that I love you. I love you so much. If you're ready to tell me, just tell me."
"Baby it's okay. You already helped me with being here and telling me all those sweet things. I don't deserve you and everyone knows it. Why are you even with me? You could do so much better. You could find a girlfriend who would be there for you and who wouldn't always be gone. Why are you wasting your time with me?" Cara said in a sad voice, with tears already escaping her eyes, rolling down her cheeks.
"Cara, babe, why would you think that? If there is someone good enough for me, it is you! Hell, you're even too good for me! Look what you do all the time! Look how many people you inspire and how many people look up to you! I'm just a simple doctor, while you are so much more! And I’m definitely not wasting my time with you! Every second I spend with you, is the best second of my life! And of course it sucks that we can't always be together, but I forget about our time apart every time I lay my eyes upon you.
I love it, when I wake up next to you in the morning and you are still sleeping. Because then I can just watch you, laying there so calm, without worries and stress. You look like an angel. I'm so lucky to have you in my life and I would never want to change that. But why would you think that you're not good enough for me?"
When I was done talking, Cara launched herself into my arms, clinging to my body, like she never wanted to let me go.
"It's just... all the haters. They say all these mean things and it was just a bit too much. You know how self-aware I am and everyone was just saying that I wasn't good enough, so I started to believe it.. I'm sorry baby.... I should know better by now. I didn't intend to ruin our time together by something this stupid..." she says while looking down and hiding her face in my sweater.
"Hey, it's okay babe. But don't believe the haters. It are just fat people sitting behind their phones at their desks, being jealous of the great person you are and everything you achieved in life, while they are too fat to get up from their desks to do something useful in their life's. You are the best person I have ever met Cara and you should never doubt yourself about that. And you didn't ruin our time together, we still have some time. But first I want to know if you stopped believing the haters, because otherwise I would have to try and convince you a little bit longer."
You said while smiling at Cara and hugging her at the same time.
"I love you so much Y/N. You always make me feel great about myself. And I don't believe the haters anymore. I will just take Taylor Swift's advice, haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
and , I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake I shake it off, I shake it off ."
She said while winking and smiling at me. I laughed at her and said. "Well at least you got your humour back."
We both laughed and spend the rest of the day watching movies in bed and going out for dinner. We both had a great day, and Cara felt way better about herself, which made me feel better as well.
