Memories Never Leave, and Neither Do People:

"LAST ONE TO THE HOUSE IS JAWA TURD!" I giggled and chased after my best friend, Luke Skywalker.

"You're such a little kid!" I stuck my tongue out at him as we shared a laugh once we both stood near our home. "I'm not much of a runner. . ." I tried to catch my breath.

"You're so lazy, that's why." He answered as I scoffed and pushed him jokingly. We were always smiles and giggles around each other, he was my other half and I wouldn't have it any other way.

. . .

"NO! NO! LET GO OF ME!"

Darkness

Roughness

Fright

It was so dark.

The bag they threw me in was rough and I had to keep my eyes shut because sand would get in my eyes if I didn't.

And I was absolutely terrified.

The last thing I saw was a Tuscan Raider grabbing my limbs so I wouldn't be able to fight back. I remember Luke going into town for some "Jedi" business he called it. I rolled my eyes and let him leave. I'm wishing I didn't, I heard screams and gun shots. But I couldn't see anything.

I cried with my eyes screwed shut, I was crying because I knew they were taking me to be a slave, that's all they do, they take people and force them into slavery. I was terrified, my heart was racing and I felt as if I couldn't breathe. I decided fighting back would be a bad idea so I refrained from doing so.

It felt like a century until I saw the sun, but it had probably only been a couple of hours. My tears were slightly coated with sand as I was yanked into a pair of chains. The Raiders looked like goblins with blisters all over their slimy skin. It made me want to puke and cry at the same time, but I told myself, Luke will find me. Luke will find me.

They spoke in a strange language, but they gestured with their hands so I could somewhat understand them. They put me to work and from this day, I've prayed to whatever God was up there that I'd see Luke again. If I don't see him again, if I can't speak another word to him, I don't know what I'd do. . .

. . .

It was difficult, seven months of slave labor in the boiling two suns of Tatooine. Most days I lost hope and wanted nothing more than for one of the Raiders to kill me.

But I continued to fight, I had to, Luke would be disappointed if I didn't. I pushed through everyday, telling myself, Luke will find me. He will find me. He's my only hope.

It was day 214, going on the eighth month and I was so tired. I was lugging large boxes onto a strange ship. I didn't ask questions, I couldn't. If I did, they probably would kill me and I don't know what I'd do if Luke was by himself in this world.

Luke will find me.

He's my only hope.

He's alive.

I can feel it in my veins.

He's going to save me,

One day.

I just have to keep fighting.

For Luke.

This is all for Luke.

. . .

Screams of agony were heard from all over camp, I couldn't tell from what. I was frightened that another dealer came for his prize money because a deal went south. It's happened twice over the past five months. The dealers were the most terrifying creatures I had ever come across. My heart began to quicken as I heard the screams come closer to my tent. I didn't want to die.

I don't want to die.

Please Luke, save me.

It's now or never.

I need you.

The tent had been slashed by what looked like a lightsaber. I couldn't breathe when I saw his face.

Those eyes.

They were so blue.

Tears flooded through my eyes as he took my weak body into his arms. I screamed of pain, physical and emotional pain. I gripped him as tight as I could and cried. I looked around the camp and saw that everything was destroyed. I pulled away from Luke and looked into his eyes.

"Luke." I breathed. My thumb ran over a cut on his cheek. I held him close and placed a kiss on his temple. He carried me out of the camp and pulled me onto a ship.

"I thought you were dead, but when we didn't find your body, I knew you were still alive." He had tears of his own as he held me close. "Oh, (Y/N), I've missed you. I'm sorry it took me so long. I can't believe they did this to you." I allowed him to cry into my shirt because I was crying into his.

"You're safe now, we're taking you to our base." A lady with brown hair spoke to me kindly. "I am Leia Organa, Luke's sister. . ." I raised an eyebrow towards Luke, I was calming down slowly.

"Its seriously a long story." He sighed as a man walked in with a wookie behind him.

"They kissed." He spoke out of nowhere. My eyes almost popped out of my head as I turned to Luke again.

"Also ow-" I smacked his head and punched his shoulder. "Also another ling story. . .I'm sorry."

"You better be sorry, you slept wi- ow. . .shit, that hurts." I felt pain in my neck. "Can i get like an ice pack or something? My neck is killing me." I groaned. The wookie roared and walked off. I glared at Luke. "I can't believe you left me on a planet to fend for myself and kissed a girl while you were gone. . .YOUR SISTER." I wasn't actually mad, I didn't feel angry, I was just happy to have him back. . .and I also wanted him to feel a little bad. He groaned as I pulled him into a weak hug and kissed his head.

"Its alright, Loser. But you'll have to make these months up to me somehow." He blushed, but nodded as the wookie handed me something that resembled an ice pack. I thanked him as we began our journey to the rebel alliance. . .whatever the hell that was. . .
