ANAKIN'S POV

I sighed while running a hand across my face. I knew she needed space, but I don't think I can take it. It's been a few days, but the silence is killing me. I hate seeing her so torn and frustrated, and to know that it's partially my fault made it worse. . .

"Hello, Master." I sighed and continued meditating on my bed. I quickly scratched my nose and took in a breath.

"You seem troubled, my young Padawan." I heard his voice traveling the room as I continued breathing out of my nose.

"Why do you think I'm meditating, Master? I'm trying to find an answer to solve my problem." Except the force wasn't helping one bit and I was growing more impatient.

"What is the problem, Anakin?" He sounded honestly concerned so I opened my eyes and relaxed my body so I could see him face to face.

"I'm having issues. . .with the Jedi order." He looked taken back for a second, but ushered me to continue on none the less. "I'm just, I'm having these feelings I'm not supposed to feel. . ."

"What kind of feelings, Anakin?" He stared into my eyes and I could sense the worry in the blue-gray pools in his eyes.

"Compassion for another. In a way that is forbidden. And I just- I'm not sure I agree with the way of the Jedi. I mean, we are encouraged to care and show mercy, accepting, even. But we are forbidden to love somebody romantically. I'm just torn and confused." I sighed heavily.

"It's (Y/N), isn't it?" He slightly smirked at me.

"Wha-What? How did you know?" I stuttered.

"Look, Anakin. I understand that you're feeling distant from the order. But I promise it's for the greater good. I won't speak to the council about this, but I advise you to be careful and truly think about what you want. . ." He nodded towards me and left my room.

"Hello." I felt relieved to hear her voice break my silence. I rushed to her and pulled her in my arms. I let out a shaky breath, I missed the feeling of her body against mine.

"I missed you." I breathed out. I was so overwhelmed with confusion, I was ready to ball tears. But my confusion washed away as I felt tears soak through my shirt. I clung to her body tighter as her body shook with cries. That was when a sob broke out from her mouth. "Shh, it's okay. I'm right here. Let it out."

"I-I'm so sorry." She cried silently as I sat her on my bed. "This isn't fair to you. I was stupid. I can't believe I was so selfish to out my safety over your feelings. The truth is, Anakin. . ."

     "Yes?" I hurried.

"I-I love you." And that was all I needed to pull her closer and kiss her without fear of being caught. All that mattered was her touch. The feel of her fingers pulling my hair and my hands gripping her waist as close as possible. It had been far too long since I had last felt her body so close to mine.

We had pulled away, but lent our fore heads against one another. My finger tips grazed her tear strained face and along her pink nose due to all the crying.

"You're beautiful. You have no idea how much I love you. I felt like I couldn't last another day without your touch. I never want to let go." I whispered and lightly kissed her lips.

"You won't have to. . ." She connected our lips together and her hands roamed along my shoulders. She pushed me back on my bed and smiled softly. "I love you."

■■■■

The sun peaked through the curtains as my fingers lingered amongst her bare back. I felt in peace and never wanted to leave this bed.

     She was beautiful.

She was the most beautiful woman I had ever come across.

     She owned no flaws.

     No anger.

     No pain.

     Only love.

     She was absolute beauty.

She was innocent from any crime. She could do no wrong. But that only caused me to feel guilt.

How could somebody so precious fall in love with a monster as him?

     He was damaged.

     He was darkness.

     He was confused.

     No happiness

     No peace.

     He was loneliness.

     He was a beast.

But she would continue to look into his eyes with a look that he would only except from her.

And neither of them wanted that any other way. . .
