"Ben is on his way" I say and look at Rory while we're sitting outside. "Awe. But I don't want you to leave" She says and leans into me, pouting. I giggle softly and kiss her cheek. "I know, but I told my grandma that I would come over today. It'll be okay though; we will see each other in the morning" I smile.

"You're right" Rory smiles and kisses my cheek, hugging me. I smile and hug her back. Rory sighs when Ben pulls up and gets off of my lap, pushing me to the truck.

"Hey sis. Hey Rory" Ben says and smiles, leaning against the side of the truck. "Hey Ben" Rory says and smiles back before turning her attention to me. "I'll see you in the morning" She says and smiles, messing up my hair.

"Bye Rory" I say and giggle, shaking my head. Rory goes back inside and Ben puts me in the car, putting my chair in the back. "Sooo, did you two kiss yet?" Ben asks and starts the truck.

"No, we didn't" I say and cross my arms, jokingly glaring at him. "Sorry" He says and laughs, driving me to our grandma's house. "You should be, lady-block" I say and giggle.

Ben laughs and keeps driving, shaking his head. We get to my grandma's house and Ben puts me in my chair, pushing me to the ramp in the garage. I smile and go inside.

"Hey grandma" I smile and go into the living room where she is sitting. "Hey guys" She says and smiles, getting up to hug us. Ben and I hug her back then Ben leaves to go finish an assignment.

"How is everything going?" My grandma asks and sits back down. "Everything is going good" I say and smile. "How is everything going for you?" I ask. "Pretty good, but I have another runner this year" My grandma says and shakes her head.

"Another one? Why can't the kids just walk away?" I ask and giggle. "Well, that would make things too easy" My grandma says and laughs. "True" I giggle, shaking my head.

"And are you making friends?" She asks, looking at me. "Just one" I say, looking back at her. "Rory?" She asks. "Yeah" I smile and bite my lip. "Tell me about her" My grandma says and smiles.

"She is really sweet, and funny, and amazing. She is a gymnast and plays soccer. She has beautiful, naturally red hair, amazing emerald green eyes, and the cutest smile. She makes me laugh and smile more than I have in a really long time... She is amazing..." I bite my lip when I realize that I'm rambling, smiling shyly.

"You really like her, I can see it in your eyes" My grandma says and smiles. I nod and look down, blushing slightly. "Does she like you back?" She asks, looking at me.

"Yeah, but I don't think we are meant to be together" I sigh softly, looking back at her. "Why?" My grandma asks. "Because every time we get close to kissing, we get interrupted" I say and bite my lip.

"Well, take things slow. Maybe you just aren't meant to be together yet" She asks and smiles. "Yeah, you're right" I say and smile, hugging my grandma. She smiles and hugs me back.

We talk for a little while longer and then Ben comes to pick me up. I go to my room and open one of my desk drawers, removing the false bottom and pulling out my notebook.

I open my notebook to a blank page and write "Her" on the top of the page. I sigh softly and start writing "My heart races every time I see her. I forget how to breathe every time I hear her voice. I get lost in her eyes, and in her smile. I have never felt this way before... I think I'm falling for her, but I'm not sure..." I finish and put my notebook away.

"Ready for dinner?" Ben asks, walking over to my desk. "Yeah" I nod and turn around. We eat the Chinese food that Ben ordered for us and then I go back to my room, going to sleep early.
