I wake up on the couch after a few hours, Rory's arm still around my waist. "Rory" I whisper and lightly shake her shoulder. "Yeah?" She asks sleepily and rubs her eyes, looking at me.
"It's already 10:00 P.M., we should probably eat something" I say and smile, looking back at her. "Good idea" She smiles and picks me up, putting me in my chair.
"I think we have a frozen pizza I can make" Rory says and goes to the kitchen. "Sounds good" I smile and follow her to the kitchen. She smiles back and preheats the oven, getting the pizza out of the freezer.
I check my phone and see that I have a text from my grandma. "Ben just told me that you have a girlfriend!" She said. I blush and quickly text her back saying "I don't have a girlfriend. We are just friends".
"Why are you blushing?" Rory asks and giggles, sitting next to me at the kitchen table. "Apparently Ben told my grandma that you are my girlfriend. He is insane" I say and giggle softly, biting my lip.
"I mean..." Rory says and giggles, shaking her head. "They need to slow down" I giggle and look at Rory, smiling shyly. "Definitely" She smiles back and gets up to put the pizza in the oven, her back toward me.
I bite my lip and shut my phone off so I can't get any messages. Rory sits back down and smiles, looking at me. "Your eyes are beautiful" She says. "Thank you" I smile shyly and look down.
"Why do you do that?" Rory asks and moves closer to me, putting her hand of mine. "Do what?" I ask and look at our hands. "Look away every time I compliment you" She says and holds my hand, using her other hand to gently lift my chin.
"I dunno... I guess it's just hard for me to believe that someone as beautiful and amazing as you would actually compliment me, or even talk to me..." I say softly and bite my lip, slightly looking at her.
"Marley..." Rory sighs softly and grabs my hands. "You are absolutely one of the most beautiful girls I have ever laid my eyes, and you are beyond amazing" She says and softly puts her hand on my cheek so I don't look away from her.
"T-thank you..." I blush profusely and smile shyly, biting my lip. "You're welcome" Rory smiles and kisses my nose, getting up to take the pizza out of the oven.
I giggle softly and shake my head, watching her. She cuts up the pizza and puts it on the table, getting plates for both of us. I smile and grab glasses for us. "What do you want to drink?" I ask.
"Orange soda please" Rory says and smile. I smile and set the glasses on the table, grabbing the soda out of the fridge and filling our glasses. I put the bottle back and go back to my spot.
"Thank you" Rory smiles and kisses my cheek. "You're welcome" I smile back and take a drink. We both eat our pizza, not talking much.
***37 minutes later***
I finish my pizza and lay my head on Rory's shoulder, yawning. "Tired?" She asks and giggles softly, playing with my hair. "A little" I say and smile, closing my eyes.
"Let's go to bed then" Rory says and gets up, pushing me to her room. We go to her room and she puts me in bed, laying down next to me. "Thank you" I smile and kiss her cheek.
"Of course" She smiles and kisses my cheek back. I turn my phone back on after Rory falls asleep and pull up my grandma's text. "If you say so :-P. Can you come over tomorrow?" My grandma asked.
"Yes I can. Night grandma <3" I respond. "Night <3" She texts back. I smile and put my phone down, laying my head on Rory's shoulder before I fall asleep.
***Rory's POV***
I wrap my arm around Marley after she falls asleep and kiss her cheek, sighing softly. I whisper under my breath "We keep getting so close, but Ben stops us every time. I mean, I guess it's for the best. We just met on Tuesday. But you are so incredibly amazing... I would love to be your girlfriend..."
