"Jacob Ephraim Black!!! Put me down this instant!!!" I scream. He doesn't put me down. I didn't expect him to. I just thought I would have fun, and make a scene of it.

"Not gunna happen!" he says, and his grip on my legs tightens, but only slightly.

All of the sudden, I had a bright idea. "Jake, come on, put me down, you're hurting me!" I hear Embry growl, very animalisticly might I add. I smirk.

"Really? Last time I checked you liked being carried like this!" Jake says. I huff.

"Really Jake, put me down! I can walk you know!!" I say.

"Jake," Embry says in a warning tone.

"Fine, it was your idea though Em!" Jake says. He sets me down on my feet, and I take a step back.

"Okay, you wanted to tell me something?" I ask.

"Yeah, just promise me that you won't run?" Jake says.

"But-" he cuts me off.

"Promise me?"

"Fine, I promise," I say.

"I'll be right back," he says before jogging off to a tree.

"What?" I ask Embry who is still standing next to me.

"The histories are true," he says as a HUGE russet colored wolf walks out to us.

"They can't be," I say.

I didn't even notice that Jake came back, until he said, "They are. That was me that you just saw."

"So you all turn into gigantic wolves?" I ask.

"Yup, it's pretty awesome except the fact that there is absolutely NO privacy at all!" Embry says.

"You forgot the part about having to buy new shorts every week," Jake mumbles.

"If we phase with our clothes on, we won't have any clothes when we phase back," Embry explains with a smile.

"Thanks for letting me know..," I say sarcastically.

"You're totally welcome!" Embry says. I scoff.

"Embry, tell her," Jake whispers before running back to the beach.

"Tell me what?" I ask.

"There's this thing called imprinting." he explains, "It's a wolf thing. It's like, like when you see her. Everything changes. All of the sudden, it's not gravity holding you to the planet anymore, it's her. Nothing else matters. You'd do anything, be anything for her. Whether it be a brother, a friend, or even a lover. She's your soul mate."

"Sounds like you know the feeling," I say.

"I do," he says.

"Have you imprinted on someone?" I ask curiously, not trying to pry at anything.

"Yeah, you. I imprinted on you," he says. Getting closer and closer with every word.

"Wait, what?" I ask, "You imprinted on me?"

"At Emily and Sam's house earlier, when we looked into each other's eyes, I imprinted," he says.

Our foreheads were now touching. I feel a smile tugging at the corners of my mouth.

"What?" he asks.

Before he says anything else, I reach up, and grab the back of his neck, and pull his head down to mine. Our lips connect, and it feels like the most amazing thing in the world! His arms snake their way around my waist.

When we pull apart, I say, "I know what you're going to ask."

"And what is that?" he asks.

"If I'll be your girlfriend," I say with a smirk.

"It's like you read my mind,"

He says casually.

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't," I say.

He laughs and asks, "Well? Will you?"

I laugh and say, "Sure, I'd love that." He kisses me again.

I pull away, and start walking. He catches up to me easily. He snakes his arms around my waist and spins me around. When he puts me down, he puts an arm around my shoulders and I loop my arm around his waist. I lean my head into his shoulder, and we walk back.
