Elton and the rest of the gang stood out side of Colby's door, Sam was on the other side, out of breath from running from Katrina's. The whole house minus Colby knew what was going to happen. In hushed whispers Devyn and Corey talked excitedly about how cute the new couple was going to be. Aaron listened, excited that he wouldn't have to continue watching the two be so oblivious of each other. Elton was just waiting, knowing smile resting on his lips, he was the all knowing uncle Elton.

Sam shifted on his feet as he refused to make eye contact. Butterflies swirled in his stomach and his heart hammered inside his chest. For so long he let the very emotions he had been suppressing fill him up, it was magical. It was insane what the brunette boy did to the blonde, Katrina could never make Sam feel the same way he felt for Colby. Colby sat on his bed looking at the other boy with curiosity. One minute he was editing a video the next Sam barged into his room panting like a mad man, "Colby w-we n-need to t-t-talk." Sam stuttered out. Colby nodded an okay as he patted the open space beside him. Sam sat next to him, his mind running a thousand miles per minute and his tongue heavy with uncertainty, "What's up bro? What is it that you need to talk about?" Colby asked a small smile on his face. Could Sam do this? He swallowed his fear and for the first time since he barged into the brunette's room looked into his eyes,

"I don't know how to say this but I broke up with Katrina today and I realized something. I like you Colby." Sam started as Colby only nodded along, "Ha, I like you too Sam." Sam resisted the urge to scream at Colby's stupidity, Sam guessed he would have to spell it out for his best friend,

"Not like that Colby. I lo- I have feelings for you. God I have had these crushing feelings for you since I was 15. I was to afraid to come to term with the fact that I had a crush on my best friend who was a guy. It scared me but I can't hide it anymore. Suppressing my feelings have made me tired and has made me mentally drained..." Both boys let Sam's words soak into the air. Before Colby could respond Sam's broken whisper filled the space between them, "I think I l-love you."

No words were exchanged after that just small butterfly kisses, Colby didn't need to speak for Sam to know that the brunette felt the same way.
