For two years Samuel Golbach and Colby Brock dated, and they were head over heels in love. Their hearts still beat as if they were 15 again discovering their feelings for the other all over again. Sam was still terrified of thunderstorms and Colby still held him, protecting him. The two fit together like puzzle pieces, one with out the other was like a morning with out a sun. Sam was Colby's Sun. The blonde's smile always seemed to shine and his laugh filled Colby with something indescribable. Colby was Sam's anchor, his eyes and touch always seemed to remind Sam why he was alive. The two saw only the best in one another and both dreamed of living a perfect life together.
Two years wan't very long for fating but that didn't stop Colby from buying a ring. Elton was the only one to know of it for he helped Colby pick it out, "It is absolutely beautiful Colby. So when are you going to pop the question?" Elton asked, his eye brows wiggling up and down causing Colby's face to heat up. The brunette let out an awkward giggle as he closed the rings box. His left hand reached up to rub the back of his neck as he let out a shy laugh, "I was thinking on our third year anniversary..." Elton's eyes practically popped out of his head, he was all for the two boys to take things slow but he had watched the two grow from unsure best friends to finally admitting their feelings, Elton knew they deserved each other, that they were going to end up married. Basically the bearded man was a fan boy and couldn't wait for Colby to just ask. Knowing the brunette and the blonde, Colby would freak and put it off for another five years just because he was afraid that the other might say no.
"Well why did you buy the ring today if you were going to wait a year?" Elton urged hoping Colby would come to his senses and ask sooner. Two years may not be very long but Uncle Elton knew they were soul mates and he was sure the other house mates would agree. Colby only shrugged his shoulders, "I want to be prepared." Was the brunette's cryptic response as he slid the box in the back of his jean pockets, turning to head to his room to hide it. Elton only nodded in response a small smile on his face.
Back in his room Colby hid the ring box underneath his many socks, a satisfied smile on his face. He had the whole idea planned out in his head but he knew he had to wait, their three year anniversary the only perfect time to ask,
"Soon!" Colby quietly squealed as he closed his sock drawer, the ring never once leaving his mind.
