Mickey's eyes went wide as she came back to the table. She was sweating and rubbed the back of her neck as she sat down on the radiator again. Katie of course was still as red as a tomato and the two girls wouldn't make eye contact.
Of course Amber and Sofia knew exactly what was going on. They could see that both girls were embarrassed and had hatched a plan to get the two love birds together. They looked at each other with the same look and snickered. Mickey now glared at her two best friends.
"I swear if you do anything I will personally-"
"you'll personally what?" Sophia said, crossing her arms and sneering at Mickey.
"I-I... ok I don't know but you'll regret it!" Mickey said, now more red than before.
The two girls laughed and they went back to eating in silence.

After lunch Katie and Mickey went to science and Sophia and Amber went to graphic design. Amber wiggled her eyebrows as she went in the opposite direction of Katie and Mickey. Mickey huffed loudly and blew the blue curly strands out of her face. She rolled her eyes and went to follow Katie to her locker. She leaned up against it while Katie gathered her things.
"ugh we need knew friends" mickey sighed as Katie slammed her locker close.
"mhmm" Katie stated still a little pink in the face.
"they can be a little invasive. Not that theirs anything they're invading!" Mickey rambled on talking about how Amber and Sophia can be so stupid and get into peoples personal lives even if they don't want help.
Katie eventually got tired of listening to Mickey, "ya I know, they can be a lot. of course theirs nothing going on I mean why would there be? Were just friends. I mean it's not even remotely possible..." Mickey kept talking and Katie finally had enough.
She put her finger up to Mickey's lips and shushed her. "shhhh! I get it" Katie whined.
Mickey dropped her hands which were currently in the hair. Her lips tingled with anticipation while Katie's finger was still placed over her them. They stood there for a second. Katie exhaled and thought that she should probably tell Mickey.
"well, what do you mean there couldn't possibly be something going on?" Katie said. "I could be gay for all you know" Katie put her hands on her hips sticking them out to one side.
Mickey's eyes widened. Her heart sped up a little bit when Katie said that. Her hair was falling out of the fish tail Mickey had done during lunch and she looked so cuuuute. 'ah! not now gay thoughts!" Mickey thought.
Katie was still standing there, a piece of hair falling from the braid. She stood there with a very serious look on her face. And to be honest Katie was a little offended, maybe Mickey isn't the person who Katie thought she was.
"w-wait, your gay?" Mickey said, a little startled.
Katie's eyes went wide. "u-um, yes." Katie looked away red in the face.
Mickey smiled and chuckled. Katie glared at her with tears in her eyes. She started to crying thinking about what Mickey was going to say. If she laughed what else was she capable of?
"well if your going to laugh then maybe we shouldn't be friends! I can't believe I even had a crush on you!" Katie was balling now running down the hallway to the bathroom.
Mickey just stood there. She didn't mean to laugh, she was just surprised (not to mention exited) that Katie was gay and liked Mickey!!!!!!! She was so exited she didn't even realized Katie was running down the hallway in tears.
"WHAT HAVE I DONE?" Mickey said standing there, with tears in here eyes.
