Caught Up In This Love

Chapter 27

Leo POV
Me and Kate crashed out on the couch after we got back. For some odd reason we were really tired. I opened my eyes and they began to focus. There was no one in the living area besides me and Kate. I checked my phone to see what time it was. It was 2:27 a.m. I looked over to Kate who was fast asleep in my arms.

I pecked a kiss on her head and reached for the remote. I lowered the volume, for the sake of not waking up Kate. She shifted from side to side until she was satisfied with her position.

"Hey Leo" I heard Kate whisper. I looked down at her and smiled. "Hey" I responded. "Is it morning yet ?" Kate asked. "It's almost 2:30a.m. " I informed. "Oh.. well I'm not that tired anymore" Kate chuckled. "Me either" I agreed. "What are we suppose to do in the mean time?" Kate quickly added. "Well whatever you want love" I said.

"Well I've actually haven't gone for a dip in my pool, I might go do that right now" Kate said as she got up from the couch. "No invite?" I teased. She looked back at me as she had already started making her way to the stairs. "Oh yeah you can come as well" Kate said in a sarcastic way. I just shook my head and followed her up.

Kate POV
I took the first bikini I saw from my closet and decided to put it on. I couldn't zip my dress down so I called Leo. "Leo can you come help me?" I shouted. Quickly Leo made his way into my room. "I need you to zip my dress down" I explained. "Okay" Leo said as he began unzipping my dress. I felt relieved.

"Thanks" I said as I turned to face Leo. He was already changed. He pecked a kiss on my cheek before making his way out of my room. I proceeded to put on my bikini--I didn't want to make him wait like I always do.

As I made my way down, Leo wasn't there. I checked the house and I couldn't find him. "Leo" I shouted. No response. I guess I'll wait for him outside until he shows up. As I opened the door to my porch, I heard splashing in my pool. I came closer to the pool and Leo was already in it. "I was looking for you !" I said annoyed. "Sorry babe, I got tired of waiting!" Leo teased.

I sighed and gave him a sarcastic grin. He just laughed. I made my way towards the steps that led into the pool. "Hurry up Kate, you're taking forever, if anything you were the one that wanted to take a dip" Leo continued teasing. "Leo shut up" I giggled. I finally got into the pool.

Leo POV
It was dark outside but I was still able to see the beauty that was in front of me. I came closer to her and she leaned her head on my chest. In a moment she was gone under water. I joined her.

I could see her blue eyes looking at me. They sparkled with the lights that were luminous inside the pool. I leaned in and kissed her multiple times. Bubbles began forming around us as Kate began to giggle. As we came up she began coughing.

"I don't think that was a good idea" Kate said in between coughs. "Are you okay?" I asked as I patted her back. "Some water went inside my nose, but I'm fine!" Kate claimed as she placed her hand on my shoulder. "I could've killed you" I joked. "You should be glad you didn't" Kate said placing her hands on her womb.

"I was just kidding" I whined almost sounding like a child. Kate playfully shoved me into the water. "Oohhh my gosh are you okay" Kate began to laugh. "You ass!" I teased as I rose out of the water.

Kate POV
Leo began chasing me in the pool and I made my best to 'run' away from him in the water. I looked be hind me and he was literally right there, behind me. I splashed water towards him a few times. I reached the steps and as soon as I tried to get out, Leo got ahold of me.

I let out a small scream. He began to grope me and tickle the heck out of me. "Leo.. stop!" I claimed as I tried to free myself from his arms. He continued and I continued to scream in laughter. "We're going to wake up the kids, worse, the neighbors!" I shouted. He stopped.

I turned to face him as I caught my breath. We smiled at each other and I tried making my way out the pool when I felt a hand grip on my arm. I turned around and our lips locked together with no hesitation. I began to loose my balance and quickly fell into Leo's arms.

Leo placed his arms around my waist and I had my hands on his chest. "I want to get out now" I claimed as I looked up at his gorgeous face. "Sure" Leo responded with a grin. Leo quickly got out of the pool and rushed to get me a towel. As soon as I was out, he wrapped the towel around me. "Thanks"

Leo POV
We sat down in Kate's deck area. We poured ourselves each a glass of wine and talked. I began to day dream in between conversation. "Leo?!" Kate snapped. "Huh?" I questioned, not knowing what was going on. I didn't really know what we were talking about, I think Kate was telling me a story. I guess I was too distracted by her beauty.
