Caught Up In This Love

Chapter 3

Kate POV
I woke up on my bed in the arms of Leo. 'How did I get here' I asked myself. As I turned myself around, I was facing Leo. He has the most adorable sleeping face ever, how can someone look so stunning while they slept? As I cupped Leo's face he began to wake up. "Good morning darling" I said. "Good morning Katie" Leo responded while stretching his arms out. "May I ask how we got here?" "Well last night you feel asleep on me while we watched TV, I didn't want to wake you up so I carried you to your bed" "Oh, well then why were you here?"   "I decided to watch over you for a while to make sure you were okay, but I ended up falling asleep as well" he smiles as he moved a strand of my hair behind my ear.

Leo POV
As I sat up in Kate's bed, she wrapped herself around my arm and begged me to stay. "Lay with me for a bit longer Leo, would you?"  "Alright" I said holding her tight as she snuggled up to me. I can almost feel her smiling, she loves it when I held her tight, and I did too.

Ned POV
So I woke up today, and turned on the TV. Apparently Leo was spotted in London a few days ago, and was headed to Reading. He must've gone to visit Kate, that whore. I guess you can say I'm somewhat jealous. I feel like she loves Leo more than she loves me, it's obvious she always has to bring him up in every 'conversation' we have like it's annoying as hell. I don't like him at all, yes he's a good looking man, and he's my wife's best friends and I'm not going to let him steal her away from me. After all I married her for a reason, because I love her. All I remember from yesterday was that I slept with a girl and Kate got mad, but it isn't such a big deal right?

Kate POV
As I stroked Leo's arms I felt very secure, like nothing can come between us, which in reality couldn't. I got up and made my way to the bathroom to take a shower. "Hey where are you going?!" Leo exclaimed as he sat up. "I'm going to take a quick shower.."  "Mind if I join you?" Leo smirked. "You perv!" I joked while letting out a chuckle.  I thought he was joking until I saw him half naked from the corner of my eye. "Leo! What are you doing?" I exclaimed while covering my eyes. "I thought you maybe wanted my company" he winked. "Oh shut up!" I rolled my eyes while shaking my head from left to right. "Now if you excuse me I need to shower"  "Me too" Leo interrupted removing his pajama pants only leaving his boxers. "Fine." I said letting him inside the shower with me. I tried not to look down, and faced the other way.

Leo POV
Kate seemed nervous from what I was seeing, it was pretty funny to me honestly. "Hey why are you so serious? It's not the first time we've seen each other naked!" Kate turned around and said "Are you insane?! I'm a married woman showering together with my really good looking best friend!" She chuckled. "So what? you love me don't you?" I could almost feel the tension building up between me and Kate. We looked into each other's eyes so deeply, almost noting such desire in our eyes. Without realizing, our lips were joint together. "Leo I-I'm sor--" "Sorry for what ?" I asked cupping her face in my hands. I kissed her tenderly again, and she returned. The glass door was all fogged up by the hot water running between us, and the only thing I could see was her stunning face. What ended up starting as a 'shower' ended up as a make out session.

Kate POV
As me and Leo continued making out, I could feel my heart pounding quicker each moment. How could something so wrong feel so good? For a moment I forgot everything that has been going on and just focused on Leo, my Leo.  "Kate" Leo said breaking the silence. "Yes Leo"   "I love you, like I really love you" he looked at me caressing my face, god he looked so damn good right now I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

"I love you too Leo, I've always have and always will" He took me in his arms and I rested my face on his chest. God you don't know how long I've been waiting for this moment, me and Leo alone forgetting about our problems and only focusing on us, yes 'us'. I heard my phone ringing. The noise was drowned by sound of the water so I turned it off. Me and Leo got out of the shower and got into robes. I looked to see who it was, and it was the last person I wanted to talk to... Ned. "Who is it sweetheart?" Leo asked.  "Its Ned" I responded with an annoyed tone.

Kate: "Hello Ned what do you want, shouldn't you be hitting up that girl you told me about ?!"

Ned: "Relax babe I called it quits with her after all, it was just for fun"

Kate: "Don't call me 'babe' , so why are you calling me ?"

Ned: "I just wanted to say I missed you and that I can't wait to see you soon"

Kate: "Oh quit your shit Ned, I am not going to continue with this, I think it's best for us to get a divorce because I can't cope with your actions any longer."

Ned: "Oh really is that right?, well let me tell you that I never really gave a shit about you in the first place, I only married you because of your money darling.. no one will ever love you so yeah and by the way I hope you're having fun with Leo over there!"

Kate was shocked about the lie she was living in, she couldn't hold back the tears of reality. "Kate are you okay my dear ?" Leo grabs Kate's phones and talks to Ned..

Leo: "I don't know what you just told her, but you need to fuck off, you're insane, why would you do such a thing to Kate, your wife!"

Ned: "Mind your own business, you fool. She's MY wife and I can do whatever I'd like to her or with her, so you should leave her alone and go back to America, because I'll be making my way back tomorrow."

[Ned hangs up]

"Kate what did he tell you?.. speak sweetheart"  "Ned to-told me that he only married me because of my money, not because he truly loved me..he's right no one will ever love me "
"Kate sweetheart don't cry, he only says that so you can feel bad about yourself"
"But he's right, all my marriages have gone downhill, will I ever find the one?"
"You will darling, any man would be lucky to have you as their wife, I know I would"

Leo gets up and plants a kiss on Kate's forehead as he heads out the restroom to get changed.

Kate POV
Did Leo just say he would be lucky to have me as his wife? I wipe away my tears and get dressed. Was he being serious or was he just trying to comfort me? Then I remember what just happened in the shower, does Leo really feel this way about me ?
